Monday 13th June at the Tavistock Wharf, the super progressive rock band YES are there, yes they are. Tickets from £62.40 Playing 'Close to the Edge' from start to finish No Rick Wakeman or Jon Anderson Chris Squire died a while ago and Alan White died last month. Steve Howe is one of the only people left from the classic YES line up.

So let me just get this straight, somebody called Steve Howe is the sole remaining member of some group called yes, and you're going to pay £62.40 to listen to him?

Steve Howe is one of the only people left from the classic YES line up. Brilliant group YES and for me it makes no difference that there is only one original member of the band. The first time I saw them was early 1970's so with bands that have been going so long that is bound to happen. Bands evolve, as indeed do football teams. Torquay United was still Torquay United after Robin Stubbs and his team mates of the time all left. I have seen Fairport Convention several times with only one founding member and Lindisfarne twice at the Wharf again with only one founding member. Both groups I had seen the original line up many years ago, and both of the present line ups were every bit as good and entertaining. Maybe more so when you take into account the development in equipment and technology. The ones I object to are the likes of Australian Pink Floyd who charge upwards of £80 for what is basically a cover band!
