Does anybody have the attendance for yesterday´s game, I can´t find it on BBC Sport? According to Sky's Live Score Centre ( link) it was 1997.

I found it an entertaining 0 0 and i think we definitely would have beaten another poor team if we had only kept 11 on the pitch. For me Briscoe and Cruise were the weakest links and even Rice was arguing with Cruise near the end. Bowman is sure to be missed for the next three however i thought O`Archie slotted in up front really well and caused problems, looks a good find. Looks like Harding is out for a few weeks with a hamstring so Richardson will have to take his chance and do a job in that midfield. Personally I would play Ajala instead of Briscoe at the moment and i fancy us to get a good result at Dartford.

I think he was as p***ed of with the way Cruise lets attackers stroll past him as I was. Nico may have been slow, but at least he put up some resistance when a player tried to go past him.

Much better highlights package this week. Not sure about Bowman there - he stuck his head forward which is obviously stupid and giving the ref an excuse to send him off but it looked as if he barely made contact

It looked to me similar to Alan Pardew's 'head butt' last season. A complete lack of forceful forward motion, more a rubbing of the forehead against the opponent but any contact above the chest is enough these days. It looks as if the Welling player also may have said something that Bowman didn't like but that's no excuse. If opposition players think that verbal abuse will cause Bowman to lose his rag they'll be muttering insults in his ear all season, out of earshot of the ref, of course.

There is an argument that Bowman deserves to be sent off for stupidity in sticking his face close enough to the player to give him the opportunity to collapse to the ground. Bowman has seriously impressed me since his arrival. He is strong, he leads the line, he is good on the ground and in the air and is an excellent finisher. He's young, but he's got plenty of experience under his belt. Almost too good to be true, and as a cynic would say..... Why were York happy to let him go? Dodgy temperament? I don't really expect TUFC to go out and get "the finished article" so maybe that is where a little more work needs doing. Talking of "works in progress", the reason I felt so totally gutted when Bowman got his marching orders was that I felt that his stand-in in our squad was so raw and so far away from being a 90 minutes player (based on what I had seen up to then) that a three-match ban for Bowman was an utter disaster which would see us pairing Benyon and Yeoman up front for three games. Duane Ofori-Acheampong impressed me with his second-half performance. Still raw, not the finished article but not as far away from it as I had thought. Other plusses - Young and Cameron still look absolute quality. Downes gave a battling performance (in a heroic Ellis style). If he had a decent left back alongside him, he might not have to fling himself around so much.
