Pity, that our clean sheet record has gone but will willingly swap that for three points!

2-2 now - Don't concede for ages and like buses a couple come along at once. Sort it out Hargreaves! Should be an entertaining match though...

Not quite going to plan. Ajala off, certainly a test now, players now have to keep their heads and show their character.

Our disciplinary record this season is not pretty reading, something CH does need to address. Downes out for three games? Step forward Mr Pearce!!

Its a funny old game as the saying goes and todays result was pretty strange considering the form of both sides. In all honesty it didn't surprise me, we have seen it over the years so many times even in the Buckle era the unexpected happened on occasions. Full credit to Telford though they obviously did there homework on us and are fighting for their lives at the foot of the table - the law of averages says they had to get it right at some point and we had to get it wrong at some point and today was that day when both stats came together. Its how we react on Tuesday against FGR that counts against a capable side that is expected to do well. A chance for others to impress with Downes and Ajala both suspended. We've had a very decent run but that doesn't mean that it was going to continue through the season and there will be plenty of ups and downs and twists to this campaign and you only have to look at the recent form of Woking with three straight defeats and I thought they looked a very good outfit and we were maybe a little fortunate to come away with the win. Its a frustrating defeat but as I said its how we recover and respond that counts now.

Spot on Pete, its now all about the reaction on Tuesday night. Since rovers lost at Braintree, they've been on a hell of a run. It was probably a blessing in disguise for them. This result could be the same, a timely reminder for us not to get carried away and that no game is a given.

A trifle annoying and we need to show our metal by bouncing back on Tuesday. Telford were up for it today and we did look a little frail at the back. DT won a lot of tackles but was slow distributing . TA perhaps unlucky to be sent off as first yellow was harsh. Regroup and re battle! Always a depressing journey home!

The major talking point at the end was Downes' red card. He completely lost his head - the ball was in the corner and a Telford player was shielding it, so he dived in two-footed to maliciously assault the player, before squaring up to another. Complete lunacy and I'd not pick him again
Ajala's was also a deserved red - two needless bookings. I think the crowd had forgotten he'd already been booked at that point. That's when the game slipped for me - despite the terrible defending we still looked good to go on and win, but after that it looked unlikely we'd win it
Telford were good and worked hard. I've noticed they've given other decent teams a hard time (drew 2-2 with Barnet at home, for one) which suggests they're not as bad as their position infers. We, on the other hand, looked complacent, perhaps even cocky, and certainly disorganised. Rice was at least partially to blame for all of the goals but there's no excusing the defending either. It's the chickens coming home to roost for us - we've been fortunate to have such a long run of wins and clean sheets knowing that our back 5 aren't the best, and it caught up with us today
I'd also add that aside from set pieces we created very little, which is another concern. I appreciate that it's best not to fix what's not broken, but we were overrun in midfield and the two strikers seemed quite isolated. Chapell and pre-red Ajala were sloppy and offered little. Bringing Wakefield on when we went down to 10 today was a good call because the pitch was narrow and we were getting dominated in the middle but obviously we had no width after that
I think all told we're probably going to benefit from the suspensions because we can get better players in. The talk is that Pearce is out for non-performance-related reasons but this is now his chance to establish himself in the side again, and we really needed Cameron back today as Ajala is very inconsistent (probably utilised best as an impact player at this stage)
Hopefully this defeat will shake things up and be a catalyst for another run rather than leading us into another mire. I can't say I'm that bothered that we lost because we weren't abysmal, we scored 3 goals and got to see 7 in total, and it was a decent day out. The only major downside was our handful of loons taunting Telford fans and offering them outside after the game - if anyone deserved to lose, it's those idiots
Finally, I was pleasantly surprised by Wellington itself - the town centre's quite pleasant and compact. But I can't say I'm a fan of New Bucks Head - I mean it's nice and modern and all, with a hotel, conference facilities and some tidy stands, but it's got no personality or atmosphere. You could barely tell when even the home side scored
