I sent an E-Mail to the club asking them to welcome my son-in-law to Plainmoor on the loudspeaker before the game, nothing happened, very disappointing (as was today´s result). guess you didnt have you hearing aid on because i heard the announcement at half time Oh, that's a shame we were in the bar then. The German's like their beer!

Very fortunate to come away with a draw with Guiseley hitting the post in each half - if it had been a boxing match they (Guisely) would have won on points. Their CF (Dickenson)was a big old lad - reminded me of a young Steve Flack in his prime.
Should we had a penalty in the first half and how on earth did Fish miss that tap in the second half?
Anyone know what the hullabaloo was about at the end involving Angus?
More worrying was the poor crowd of 1558 odd with Speiss as MOTM - me, I thought Lavelle-Moore had a better game.
Cracking Garlic Chilla Chicken Massala last night washed down with a few glasses of wine hit the spot nicely.

The next four games are against what I would have called "easy" opponents at the beginning of the season. Welling, Kidderminster, Bromley and Boreham Wood. If we don´t pick up 8 points from these games we could be in dire trouble at the end of the season.

I can't say I'm impressed with Paul Cox's style of football thus far. It's primitive stuff launching the ball down the channels in hope than expectation. There's little imagination or flair on show. It's a poor standard to watch I'm afraid. Hargreaves might have had his faults but at least there was a chance I would witness some inventiveness in our moves, some flair and the odd well crafted goal. Today there was little quality on show from Torquay, the 3-5-2 formation does not seem to be working as we don't seem to have options going forward and we look vulnerable at the back. Unless we improve our standard there is every chance we will be in for another relegation scrap. Right now we're like a jigsaw puzzle with very few parting fitting together! Can we reasonably expect anything else? We are a club with no money, which pays the barest minimum to our employees. It's unlikely that I will get to Plainmoor to see the club play for a few years so I rely on the opinion of others. As such, one recurring theme is a lack of quality but without money to attract players, we are never going to get quality. No quality means poor performances, which is already being reflected in attendances. That makes money even tighter and so the downward spiral continues, and we just end up with players no-one else wants. It is with great dismay that I fear if we get relegated from the Conf, the end of the club will not be long in following.
