Almost exactly one year ago today over 350 Torquay fans travelled to Telford all hoping to see Torquay go top of the league with a win. Unfortunately the team were well and truly found out that day and lost. Things have been going down hill ever since and continue to do so. I am expecting nothing more than another defeat tomorrow but total respect and good luck to the supporters travelling up from South Devon because Lincoln is a bloody long journey.

I blame that prat who shouted at Downes who was getting beaten by his player "break his leg" and he obliged by scything him down and getting sent off. Truly a bad day.

Well - we are on the eve of a new era for TUFC - will today's team usher the old regime out with a bang or a whimper? Would love to see them win but suspect they may not. Will head for LWS next Saturday!

It all started to go wrong in the pub before the match when you shouted out that you wanted someone to rub cream into your arse. Maybe it was anal irritation that caused you to make that ill-judged call to Downes. If I had agreed to rub cream into your arse, it might all have ended up differently - with Hargreaves celebrated as the hero who took us back to the Football League twice. But as Meatloaf once said, I would do anything for TUFC but I won't do that.

We seem to be desperately short of a defensive midfielder. Nathan Smith seems to be an adaptable lad who has had a go at right back centre back and left back already, so I might try something like this - assuming that Geohaghon and Carmichael are missing through injury:
Fabian Spiess
Durrell Berry Angus MacDonald Harry Hickford Dan Butler
Fergus Bell Nathan Smith
James Hurst Louis Briscoe Shepherd Murombedzi
Tyrone Marsh
subs: Dan Lavercombe Oneil Odofin Bayan Fenwick Ashley Yeoman Alex Fisher

Exodus is in the team - remain to be convinced that he has the stamina for this level of football?

Geohaghan who is carrying an injury beaten for a second time in a minute to concede again. Probably we had the better of the play as well....

Been cleaning out the garage whilst listening to Crosby, Stills and Nash - can't bear to lisetn to the game on the wireless. Just seen Sky Sports to see that we are 2 nil down. Oh well, back to the garage... I can remember someone saying that some of the pre-season games were very poor and getting shouted down as they were only PSF and had no bearing on actual league games. No shit Sherlock.

Exodus? I just don't get it! So what he can take a throw in, his throw in ability is costing us at least 2 goals per game at the moment, no matter how I crunch the numbers it still comes out as him being an absolute liability!

If it helps, we sounded competitive and with new manager in place there is potential for a significant uplift. Need to rest Exodus until he is fully fit. Full-time, 2-0 as I type.
