A tough match tonight against an in-form Dover team that are now up in a play off position and have some decent away results recently with a 2-3 win at Gateshead and a 2-5 win at Eastleigh! A familiar face will be that of Toby Ajala who ended up here after going on trial at various other clubs, also I think Ofori-Acheampong is on their books as well. Top scorer is Stefan Payne with 6 goals followed closely by winger Devertics on 5 and they could be the main threats tonight.
With a bit of luck a fit again Richards will play to bolster a sadly lacking midfield and if nothing else will give us a bit more bite there! If that is the case will be interesting to see if Nico will persist in the left back position. Hopefully, we can give a better account of ourselves. Unfortunately cannot make tonight as Tuesdays are becoming increasingly dodgy for me but any thoughts on the game will be much appreciated!

Oh dear, losing again to a goal the opposition didn't really have to work for. Really becoming tiresome. Just have to keep working but so dispiriting. We don't sound like scoring at all...

Don't think we deserved that particular kick in the privates. Sounded much improved tonight. Just the way things are going right now. Just need to find a win from somewhere. Southport a massive game now.

Luck, rub of the green or good fortune does not seem to be favouring us these days - will the gods ever look favourably upon us? Am beginning to sense perhaps not!

That was harder to take than the 3 - 7 drubbing. So much hard work to get back to 2 - 2 then to throw it all away. Gutted. What was Speiss doing!? Would appreciate it if someone could explain that particular goal keeping technique to me.

You could see Nico's influence coming through. Much more enterprising typified by Courtney Richards charging out to put his body in the way of a free kick on the edge of the box! Last two games that would have ended with the ball in the net. Hats off to Courtney.

Despite playing well (well better than we have been playing recently) another 'regular' Torquay footie cock up.
Heslop on the ball with a minute to play decides to pass the ball across goal (rather than launch it up the field) and between two of our players (both who possibly thought that the other was going to get it), Dover number 23 says "thanks you, you dopey locals" and whacks it goal bound and the keeper flaps/palms/punches/ the ball into the back of the net and 3 - 2 to Dover.
Make no doubt about it, we are Conference South bound says this 'so called fan'.
