Well what can you say about todays game?
Team Selection First thing was the team selection with no Smith (injured?) and Gerring sloting into the back 4 and local hero 'Finchy' on the bench of 5. No back up CB/defender on the bench if indeed we have any.
The Match Thought that over the 90 minutes Torquay were the better side, with a stone wall penalty turned down, two kicked off the line and a world class save from thir 'keeper in the first half. Mind you could have lost in the last minute without that save from Lavercombe.
Boos at the end with some verbal disagreement between supporters.
Officials Its saying something when you wish Brett Huxtable was in charge rather than those there today. Both Lino's might have as well not been there. The ref lost it within the first ten minutes letting assault and battery go unpunished time after time. How he couldn't see that Butler was man-handled in the area for a stone wall penalty is behind me. Lost of after through the game lost on all three offials.
Managerial Appointment Would love the board to confirm that Nico's CV was the best - a death knell solution in the end. Who else did the board 'seriously' consider?
Communication No match report on the OS with the Buckland game still on for Tuesday
Would be good to have regular updates on those injured and when they are likely to be back.
No confirmation or denial about the ground share next season with Truro.
Accounts I understand the accounts were posted late and we have had a warning from the Inland Revenue. Surely the accounts can be posted on time and in the correct manner?
The future Can't see anything but Conference South, sad days indeed.

Chelstongull are there still non playing staff at the club still drawing a salary? If there is they need to get out now and the money spent on a manager that can sort this joke of a club out

Just as I was expecting, we're all doomed! Looking forward to Cheltenham and some gallows humour. Is it sadism to take my partner? Mind you she gets angry about Wolves' results - she should have my world! Remember those tossers when they were with us in the 4th Div. Some kept the faith though.

AccountsI understand the accounts were posted late and we have had a warning from the Inland Revenue. Surely the accounts can be posted on time and in the correct manner? Not quite. It is the Annual Return which is now two months late prompting a "First Gazette notice for compulsory strike-off" - i.e. the club will be compulsorily wound up if we continue to ignore reminders. Embarrassing but not the end of the world - assuming we now pull our finger out and get it done. I have been assured that this is in hand. realbusiness.co.uk/article/28408-filing-your-annual-return-how-to-get-it-right-the-first-timeEvery company is required to file an Annual Return to Companies House at least once a year, but many business owners file the Return late, do it wrong or avoid it all together. Here is how to get it right the first time.
Filing an Annual Return is a vital part of running a business and, believe it or not, it needn’t be difficult, complicated or time-consuming.
Failing to file, ignoring warnings or putting your head in the sand could cause a whole world of trouble – for you and for your organisation.
What is an Annual Return?
An Annual Return is a yearly statement which gives essential information about a firm's composition, activities, and capital position.
It contains:
Details of current shareholders and any changes since last year. A list of serving officers (directors and secretaries) The address of the registered office and location of the register of members. The company's officers are responsible for ensuring that the Annual Return is filed on time.
What if I file my Annual Return late?
This is a very bad idea. It’s a criminal offence to fail to deliver the Annual Return within 28 days of the legal return date and directors and company secretaries can be prosecuted for that failure.
A conviction means a criminal record and a fine of up to £5,000, and in some cases, you may also be disqualified from acting as a company director.
You should get several warning letters before Companies House pursue any draconian action but don’t put it off.
It’s worth pointing out that the fines and penalties are usually avoidable which means they are a completely useless drain on resources and cashflow. That cash could be put to so much better use in building your business than swelling the coffers of government bodies.
