We deserve to be in front here - we really need to carve out chances in the box if we want to put the game to bed. Not many options on bench which is a worry! Damp, cool but pitch not bad!

We now go into this vital game with our two sharpest attacking weapons ruled out through being overworked in Trophy matches. I hope it does not cost us dear, but fear that it might very well do. Very glad to be proved wrong .... just. Sounded like we were hanging on at the end after missing chances to put the game to bed. Fresh legs up front might have helped, but we got there anyway. It will be good to add Wright, Allen and Verma to the squad. We would have a decent bench with everybody fit. Does Rylah's omission make him more "one for the future" than a serious impact sub option? Or is he injured? |
