The first leg of the Easter weekend is away at Dover on Saturday but strangely half of the division played today with the only significant result for us being another welcome defeat for Boreham Wood which sees us maintain our position, for now at least... A bank holiday is never great for traveling and an old friend of this forum advises that the A20 was backing up today due to security checks at the port and taking the old B road instead May be a good bet!
The revolving door at Plainmoor has turned yet again but for the final time with the closure of the transfor window for the last time. Out goes Odofin on loan to Billericay and in comes Amos Kabeya on non contract terms but with the ability to play either up front or out wide, both areas we are not flush with excess players. Finally, Luke Young is now available for selection which is great news but I suspect will only be on the bench at best for now. Will be interesting to see if Nico eventually plays him in a two or three man central midfield.
By not playing today,Dover fell out of the play off positions and will want to get back into the mix. Ajala I suspect will be very keen to make an impact at his former club.

I see that some clubs played yesterday, any idea why? Give Eastleigh an 'extra' day to recover.

The fact Gerring did not come on shows we know he isn't good enough - yet he will be starting three games when MacDonald is suspended. Could do without the goal difference taking a hammering! |

4 goals in about 11 minutes rob we just collapsed but we seem to against any team with a bit of quality apart from one or two games but in the relegation zone again now and not an easy run in too come

I've been very impressed with him on this recent run and he's been the most consistently solid performer in my opinion. Tight in defence and able to get past opponents and get balls into danger areas. |

Could do without the goal difference taking a hammering! not weird when you know the facts. like we thought the subbing of Raachi against soutport strange but he was already injured. Smith turned his ankle on Thursday so Gerring had to be held back to replace him, which is what they did at half time |
