The Leave campaign didn't just specifically state that if it won, there would be a plan in place before we left. It explicitly said there'd be a cross-party negotiation with the EU. It said it would include experts from business, law, and civil society. They described a four-year legal framework to achieve this.
Boris promised a deal. Gove promised a deal. The Leave literature, press conferences, posters and social media feeds all promised a deal. Not just any old deal - one that was actually better than the tariff-free, frictionless trade we already enjoy with 27 member states with a third off our membership costs and cashback.
Any idea when that is due to happen?

A well known TUST Militant, ardent Remainiac, and campaigner for an extension to Season Ticket Holder privileges, has been banging the same drum with monotonous considerable regularity for several weeks, but will have left many flabbergasted by a post he's made elsewhere this evening. Anyone who occasionally looks in on this thread will hardly need reminding, but in essence our popular friend's argument seems to have boiled down to a simple assertion that in order to know whether the points of view being put forward on the subject of Brexit are worthy of consideration, we should first examine their Bank balance, and establish whether they'd personally gain or lose financially from the UK being in or out of the EU. For anyone new to the thread, here's an example: It seems that even a financially neutral position disqualifies you. Instead you need to be destined to lose enough cash as a result of what you're advocating becoming reality, that your worth would drop below the million mark.......then we might consider the merits of your argument rather than focusing solely on your Bank balance. An unexceptional, class warrior, hard left, TUST Militant mind-set, you might conclude. A criteria we might not all have agreed with, but had become familiar, but still naively perhaps, expecting it to be faithfully upheld and applied to all. But tonight, instantly smashing the hypocrisy meter to tiny pieces, our Remainiac friend has, elsewhere, wheeled out Lord Heseltine to speak on Brexit' !! Now, if we had to name one person who we'd have every right to assume would dismiss the opinion of an ultra rich member of the landed gentry, before a word on the subject had left Heseltine's mouth, we know who would have instantly sprung to mind. 'More than a million stashed away ? that's you excluded for a start buddy !' .........however, it seems that , mysteriously, Lord Heseltine, is not being held to the same standards. In fact Heseltine's speech at this weekends Losers March has been presented elsewhere, in a fashion that indicates that our Hard Left Remainer friend wants it to be judged solely on it's merits. 'But surely that would mean tearing up the oft quoted Remainiac rulebook.....has Rob suddenly morphed into John Bercow ??' I hear you ask, incredulously. What possible reason for this sudden change of policy i wonder ? Why the numerous glaring omissions ? Why no mention of Heseltine's vast personal wealth, estimated to be in excess of £300 million ? But maybe even more conspicuous by it's absence was the lack of even the slightest mention that as far back as the year 2000, Heseltine has on average been pocketing £90,000 ever year by way of a handout from the EU. Loads of money, loads of land, and loads more income by way of EU subsidies. Conveniently none of which was worth a mention from our well known Remainer. "The fact that I am a wealthy man is quite irrelevant" states Remainer Heseltine, and in this particular instance, it seems that Remainer Rob fully agrees.........how odd that it never once applied similarly to well off Leavers. Remainiac rules ?....whether it's their bank balance test, or their claims they'd abide by the result of a National Referendum...........it can all be altered in an instant if it doesn't suit. link - Remainiac Heseltine's Millions, plus EU handouts

Ah, The Daily Express. They’ll never forgive him for bringing down Thatcher, will they? Sorry to open up old wounds by mention of his name, AJ.
They missed the bit out about how many are employed and how many are assisted by agricultural subsidies that may be gone if there is no Final Say. Probably a fair few more than the Trust inheritance “bet against the pound Millionaire Brexit Set” investment portfolios.
Never mind agriculture assistance, though. We could always up the already high percentage of food imports we rely on from the E.U. when that is withdrawn across the board. Might even be tariff free still if we’re lucky. Or fresh after their M20 Dover car park delay. Might not, though.
Gave a good speech yesterday, did Heseltine. References to Churchill, MacMillan and Thatcher. May offend those to the right of that, of course. Worth a watch for some decent oratory.
It is understood Jacob, Bo-Jo, Gove and co were too busy plotting who might be the next Tory Party leader to attend the 70 strong No Deal Nutter March from Sunderland that Farage is avoiding like the plague.

Ah, The Daily Express. They’ll never forgive him for bringing down Thatcher, will they? Sorry to open up old wounds by mention of his name, AJ. It's not that he was instrumental in bringing Maggie down, it was the back-stabbing way he went about it. He coveted the top job, and tried to finagle his way there. The only good thing that came out of it all was that the slimeball never got near it again. Haha. ‘Finagle’. Like that word. But I’ll stand by my assertion that it really is that he was instrumental in bringing Thatcher down that causes that abominable rag to dislike him to this day. He got the Environment Secretary job to scrap the Poll Tax and then served as Deputy PM to John Major. I think, like many, he was just glad to see the back of Thatcher in the end. ‘Coveting the top job and finagling’. Now who could that apply to today? <insert clown smiley>

What a great Heseltine inspired game. With the key question being posed .... Now who could that apply to today ?I'll throw out a topical Torquay related one for starters. Here are a few clues: 1. A one legged Army, limping away from Plainmoor having been snubbed by the club yet again. 2. A rabble of political extremists united only by their determination to keep the red flag flying 3.Four letters, beginning and ending with 'T'. So to whom might Michael Heseltine's famous words from 1976, be applied today ??

Is it Ronnie Corbett? Calling him a tw@ seems harsh, though.
My commiserations with you over tonight’s news that Rees-Mogg could be backing May’s Deal, AJ. I sense you are hurting. If it’s any consolation, he used to support a Final Say referendum before calling May’s Deal something that would make us a slave state. So whether he’ll flip flop again by Thursday is anyone’s guess. The poor chinless soul.
In other Brexit Millionaire Set news, finagling coveter Bo Jo The Clown has also indicated he will vote for it if he can have an early crack at Conservative Party leadership.
Farridge? Still avoiding the Nutters March and tonight advocating a longer extension to Article 50. The barmpot noise-smith.

Rob It's very little consolation Rob, as Cameron decided to go about things in his own different way, rather than taking JRM's suggested route. It might also be worth clarifying that JRM's plan bore no relation to that which we might now eventually end up with, i.e first referendum to decide the 'Leave or Remain' question, followed by a Peoples Vote Final Say Referendum that would most likely be pretty much asking the same question again.

In other Brexit Millionaire Set news, finagling coveter Bo Jo The Clown has also indicated he will vote for it if he can have an early crack at Conservative Party leadership. May has told 1922 Committee she will go early if her deal passes. That should be more than enough for Bo-Jo to vote for it despite repeatedly panning the deal. His leadership desire takes precedence over anything else in Clown World. He’ll likely get stabbed in the back on that one by Gove again or someone else as the Conservative Party Circus continues.

No majority for anything in Parliament. Will this put Meaningful Vote 3 back into play? Maybe. Wasn’t expecting anything to pass before her MV3. DUP have tonight issued a statement saying they won’t be backing May’s deal. As predicted, leadership hopeful Bo Jo The Clown has said he will now back May’s deal.

This whole subject has become a total farce. The conservative government has had almost three years to resolve what was a perfectly genuine instruction from the public, and have failed miserably to carry it out. Every time I see the prime minister on TV, I do feel sorry for her because she has dedicated her whole tenure to trying to abide by the result of the referendum, but she has, over a period of time, retreated into a reluctant bubble, as it is common knowledge that she was a staunch remainer when the whole process started.
Some people say that she now cuts a pathetic figure whenever she returns from Brussels with her hopes dashed. For me, the most pathetic figure in the House of Commons is Ian Blackford, the parliamentary leader of the SNP. Every time he speaks, he says that the Scottish people will not accept the result of the referendum as they wish to remain within the European Union. If that is the case, why did they not vote for independence in 2014? Does he really expect all of those people across the four countries who voted to leave to worry about the plight which he says the Scottish people face and change their minds for that reason?
Tonight's "indicative votes" all failed, although I do respect Oliver Letwin's attempts to try to find something different to break the impasse. However, we are now back where we started as there is such a diversity of opinions (sixteen, as the Speaker selected only half of them for the vote), that there is no chance of any consensus however far Brexit is delayed.
The current government is so divided on this matter that it is impossible to determine who could possibly lead the party after Mrs May's departure. I never thought that I would say this, but I would probably vote Labour were it not for the presence of Corbyn, whom nobody in their right mind could support. However, I would vote for them if any of the possible candidates for the leadership included Keir Starmer, Hilary Benn or Yvette Cooper, who have all, during the past months, demonstrated integrity and a genuine desire to debate in the best interests of the country.
Although I was a strong advocate of "leave" in the 2016 referendum, I now find myself sick and tired of the whole thing, to the extent that I now couldn't care less who wins this ghastly pantomime. Leave or Remain, get it over and done with, so that we can get back to tackling more important matters like knife crime and similar offences against society.

I feel your hurt, but I’m not sure he’s worth you getting too upset. Enjoy the upbeat Joe take on things instead. You can call Boris Johnson whatever you like and I would probably agree with you. However, Jacob Rees-Mogg, although he comes from a posh-speaking and privileged background, at least always sticks firmly to his beliefs and remains calm whenever provoked. Of course he has voted for May's deal, because it is now the nearest choice available to his wish to leave completely. I'm not necessarily saying that this policy will succeed, just trying to show you that you have misinterpreted his sudden change of direction. The first video in your post is clearly too short to convey the full context of what he said. The second one is ridiculous, disrespectful and not in any way amusing.
