Looking at the greyhound forum, seems there is more than talk of legal action against GBGB which GI have links with and maybe their focus is elsewhere presently?

Someone on another forum mentioned that Osbourne was unable to attend the breakfast meeting for businesses at Plainmoor the other day. Reason given: Something urgent had come up in the greyhound side of GI's business. I don't know if AJ or anyone has any more info on that City of London Police fraud and bribery investigation GBGB were helping the police with? Information seems a bit scant.

Now that the deal has been ratified by the National League no doubt we shall soon see a slew of new signings and a climb up the league. Or not?

Good to hear Clarke Osborne spelling out the plans for us to 'climb the leagues'. However, as is clear, the Luddite forces that are determined to hold us back and put a brake on his ambitious plans for progress will need to be overcome. #ClimbingWithClarke

Can't disagree with a single word. Can he see it through and realise his ambition? I'm not so sure but what he does say makes complete sense, even though he answers none of our current relegation fears. His "ideals" and aims are surely what we all want to hear and make complete sense for sustainability in the long term.

Notwithstanding Flo owes his club and possibly life to the easily ground down Clarke Osbourne, I thought the interview contained much of what you would wish to hear in much the same way as previous infrequent press communications from GI. And who could begrudge AJ's obligatory polite round of applause at what Aussie considers flannel. Not me.
Clearly it is actions we're all waiting on, of course. There's not much about our present plight, which one might expect from a new Chairman in the week we entered the Conference South relegation spots, but I guess that wasn't the intention of the video.
I found it interesting that having spoken about stadia he went on to juxtapose an academy as something 'physical' by contrast. Probably fair enough given their record on actual stadia builds, but an interesting use of words, nonetheless. On the whole, though, a well structured piece of communication I thought.
A bit of a throwback for me listening to a Clarke Osborne interview regarding sustainability and stadia. I note that he regarded the local authority as excited at the land and stadia aspect, but will no doubt with AJ's willing help come to fully appreciate that his fascination with our plight was the key feature to have interested him in TUFC.
I'm too tired with it to be worried about them all the time. Obviously, I hope they operate differently this time, even if GI's words are similar to the last time a club I supported died.

Who exactly is being sucked in Chelston? There is no other option other than play along and pray he does what he says he's going to do. Or is there another option you tell me? Were all bloody sceptical for goodness sake but if hes is a deluded conman like Roberts then he did pretty well in interview admittedly under pretty mild but well structured cross examination. Scrutinise his response and my feeling is that the days of the short term unsustainable "Quickfix" are gone. The football club will have to support itself - at what level who knows? We may have to drop again to rebuild from an even lower base line. Unsurprisingly and reading through the lines I doubt whether Clarke Osbourne gives too hoots what division we end up in as long as the business works and the football club can support itself in whatever guise. Probably why he didn't look at all concerned about the immediate plight of Nicholson's inadequate squad and where it is heading.
We knew this day HAD to come, he at least he does appear to have a plan that may or may not work. Turn your back on this man and his plan and you wont have a club anyway.
I'm a realist these days not a fanciful dreamer so please tell what did you expect him to say?
