And as Election Day looms, let's spare a thought for those who are convinced they'll personally benefit from a Creepy Joe presidency. That's a fair old wad to chuck down in favour of Joe, but a reasonable return if you've called it right. And not forgetting the Drug traffickers and massed ranks of illegals ready to swarm across the border once President Joe makes America porous again. They'll be partying on the streets of those Mexican border towns if Joe & Kampala are booked into the White House. Still all to play for

I think the person who put that bet on might have been better advised to put it on Torquay to go up as champions! 😁

Just got up to see the election is unexpectedly incredibly close and may take days for a definitive result to work through.

The current voting in Pennsylvania means it possibly looks that way. A fair few permutations, but hadn’t realised if 269-269 House of Representatives choose President and Senate choose Vice President. Biden: “It is not over until every vote is counted”. “It’s not up to either me or Donald Trump to announce a win, it’s up to the people of America”. Stable genius crackpot jackpot: “They’re trying to steal this election. Big WIN for me”. And now trying to get Supreme Court to stop vote counts because of ‘a major fraud on our nation’.

You heard it here first !! Alpine Joe 26th October I wouldn't discount a couple of sacks of postal ballots being spotted in a dark corner of a Sorting Office next April, or in the back of an old transit van. I wonder what the latest US election news is ?

Him and his nutjobs are pushing the fraud button too early on Wisconsin. Only 7k in it and waiting on Green Bay Area that was predominantly Republican in 2016. If he seriously wants a suspension of counting there, he and they are more nuts than you think. Your whackjob’s Twitter, with some additional loony tune commentary over, yes of course, Fox News, highlights the position there. Biden more popular than Hillary there, though, according to opinion polls. Opinion polls, eh! Whatever happened to them.
Yes, Trump and you did highlight nutters and Trump would try to bring up voter fraud if not clearly winning, but even Republican commentators saying there is zero basis for Supreme Court intervention to stop votes being counted that Trump appears to want.
Late counts are always a feature. An increase in postal voting where over a quarter of a million have died from coronavirus adds to that. That much is logical, but off on a set up conspiracy theory we must go unless he gets over the line is the Trump fake news narrative. Which, as far as getting over the line goes, he still might.
Fact check on those you tweet, AJ. You may be surprised by their content, generally. Then again, you might not. Your reverend is off his head, for example. When oddballs on Twitter question democracy in favour of a conspiracy theory, that’s all part of modern life. But when it is an incumbent President doing it, it’s all a bit Zimbabwe to me and many others.

Rob
I've missed this. What has Trump said regarding a need for a halt in the counting of votes ? He 'appears' to want it ? If only politicians would make themselves clear so that we could deduce from their words if they do or if they don't.

You can also see it on BBC if you hold your nose while viewing. "President to ask Supreme Court to stop counting". That should get you there. He said it in his speech this morning subsequent to his crazed tweet during Biden’s address. I don't think your Reverend Anthony has yet tweeted too much on it. Other news agencies available. Proboards went down just a minute ago for me. I may blame Russian interference, AJ. Will you be blaming China.

Rob Oh but I do Rob, and I don't stop there. I'd already fact checked your post, which is why I provided you with the opportunity to correct or retract .... but instead you decided to double down with...... 'He said it in his speech this morning'The trouble is that telling people that it was what Trump had said, when it wasn't, and rather than being more truthful and admitting that it's nothing more than your anti Trump interpretation and not a quote at all, was only ever going to have a very limited shelf life before it was rumbled. link - All voting must stop
Others trying to pull the identical sleight of hand, seem to be being dealt with in a forthright manner. However at TFF we do nothing more severe with the false words you've tried putting into the President's mouth, than apply the Fake News stamp to them
