Let's hope Jon is able to keep his choice of young Pitts as his avatar, rather than having a photo of a youthful (Sean) William Joyce imposed in it's place . link- Gulls Legend (Sean) William JoyceVery pleased to learn that both Luke Young and Sean McGinty are staying with us; two of our top performers last season, and a couple of players who you'd hope could again excel next term. Quite understandable that Verma & Sparkes are seeking pastures new, and while it's a pity to see them go, Kev does have plenty of time to search for adequate replacements. I don't want to see him wasting a penny of Hector's season ticket money.

Clock will shortly start ticking for KN to construct a team for the new campaign. Let's hope he can entice some reasonable players to TUFC. Not sure many will tolerate another dreadful slog littered with dire performances. There needs to be significant improvement.

Sparkes and Williams have both signed for Dagenham today. They know what they're doing. We don't appear to.

Williams going to Dagenham was something I read that crispygull had written, although the only thing that appears to be confirmed at the moment - by Williams himself - is that he is leaving Torquay. Very sorry to see him go. Think him and Keating did well together.

I think it is clear that the budget is tight again this year and would not expect it to be anything else. Not too sure where we are relatively in our league but suspect it is not a top ten budget which would give us a chance of pushing for the play offs. Very sorry to see Williams go as he kept us up but probably not wholly about money with the game time he got over the season....

I am sure GI have massive ambition and will invest vast sums of money to ensure we have a side capable of maintaining a challenge for say a stunning 16th or 15th place in the league, thus significantly improving outcomes reached in the past two campaigns! We could push on to mid table status over the next couple of years perhaps? Although, given their track record I am most likely being slightly over optimistic!

With Williams and Sparkes, two of last year's best players not offered decent contracts to keep them at Plainmoor I think we're in for another wrong end of the table struggle.
Glad I got my season ticket this morning...

Moore to sign? Rumors on .com. Personally I think that would be very good news though the usual suspect doesn't share that view and calls him a show pony and no better than Martin Rice. I wonder how many times he saw him play?
Curious to find myself reading posts there and laughing out aloud as I see the usual suspect, who has recently infiltrated the forum, insulting players the manager and fellow fans with his superior and insulting vitriol. Nothing changes, previously it was "local simpletons" and non stop boring smack down playground insults to fellow fans for having the audacity to disagree. Surely the .com forum members will see the light at some point and realise he just loves the sound of his own self righteous superior waffle that does more harm than good though he does have allies in the .com admin team and has free reign it seems to write what he likes.
Look out!! Here he comes with another insult or put down - he's sure to get wind of this post!!!
