Florida is right, the problem is right at the top. Things were probably destined to go tits up the day mike batson decided he didn't want to own a football club anymore. It was only good fortune that the bristows won the lottery and decided to spunk a fair amount of their winnings on Torquay united.
Since then what followed has been almost inevitable, firstly the Dave Philips regime trying to keep the club afloat with virtually no money, then falling into the hands of property developing sharks.
If there was truly a saviour out there, someone who cares about football and has the nouce and some cash I think they would have come forward before now, but they haven't because basically I don't think they exist. The best anyone can hope for now is that the club ticks along while waiting for that saviour to turn up.
