How to make a red neck cringe! Leftie hating can be fun but ffs there are limits! Having a twisted sense of humour doesn't even touch this!

There are often right wingers at football clubs - some on the pitch and others off it!

The way things are going we could sign both Messi and Ronaldo and still go down.Hard to believe this is the same club I supported as a kid. Shameful.

If my math is correct it would take a Torquay striker about 800 games or 17 years to earn as much as Alexis Sanchez earns in a week. I am guessing some of our players may also have figured this out. ...which might explain why they are so steadfastly refusing to score. I blame Rupert Murdoch for our demise.

Good point Jon. Somewhat remiss of me not to figure that into my original calculation.

Back page of the HE "Romain remains target as recall clause worries Gulls" And the point of him staying now the horse has bolted?

OSBORNE SANCTIONS FURTHER SQUAD STRENGTHENING
A very useful further addition to the squad today as we've managed to acquire Cardiff City forward Rhys Healey on loan. Aged 23, and has played against Chelsea in the Premier League. However he did suffer a serious injury that kept him out for a long spell, and even worse than that it meant he missed the Summer Tour of Devon and Cornwall. You can just imagine how he felt listening to other Cardiff players recalling how wonderful Cornwall was.
Devastated to have missed out, it's little wonder that Rhys has now jumped at the chance to come down to the South West himself. Combine that with the chance to play for the mighty Gulls, and the lad must be in dreamland. We'll all be wishing him luck and every success during his stay with us. Thank you Colin.

Decent of Warnock to ring up and offer a free striker in need of game time given our plight. Let’s hope he hits the ground running for the run in.
Seems to have done well at Newport. Owers obviously rates him. Our striking roster at last seems complete in terms of quality. Now for that final push.
Good luck, Rhys.

One thing that did cross my mind. He will need international clearance from the Welsh FA, won’t he?

One thing that did cross my mind. He will need international clearance from the Welsh FA, won’t he? Surely not? He's not playing in any of FAW's Leagues. Cardiff play in the EFL's Championship, so he must already be cleared to play in England. As such, he's not leaving one international FA to join a club in another, by coming to us. He does need clearance. But the club believe he will be available against Solihull.
