simonb Too true simon, in fact we can probably both think of some who treat it as a solemn duty not to be convinced. They try to outdo each other in the tenacity of their ability to remain defiantly unconvinced; it's a Militant badge of honour . 'Not convinced' is perfectly acceptable. It's what that translates itself to in reality, which is a tooth and nail fight to stop the new stadium. They're so unconvinced it could live that they need to strangle it at birth just in case. Let's state once again what the Militants ARE convinced about, and that is that TUST ownership can never be achieved unless they are successful in blocking the new stadium and keeping us at Plainmoor. It's seems to be an all consuming obsession for the most prominent hard line Militants that we've come to know and love across the Forums. Should they win, we'd have a lot more than patronising words to worry about.....of that I'm convinced

Given his track record I suspect some will not be convinced by his latest utterances. Which includes the track record on failing to deliver stadia poor AJ keeps forgetting about. The latest preferred angle appears to be that imaginary militants are blocking that which never gets built anyway. Sadly, for AJ, Osborne's failure to deliver on new stadia comes under the heading:- bound to spark questions that you then find yourself having to dodge entirely .

LUKE 15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.TFF 19th December 2016: 'Peter Masters tried to buy the club in 2015 but couldn't because he already owned Truro ( even I could have told him that) and ever since, he has been 'advising' the club. That almost seems corrupt. Someone advising the club, steering it, no doubt, in a way that suits them. His attitude to fans is fairly well documented. I find it an utter outrage that this board of supposed fans of the club, have had their head turned and their choices influenced by Masters putting his own interests first'.TFF 20th December 2016: 'I think the prospects of a rosy-ish future would have far more likely under TUST than GI, even if the odds were still pretty low. I don't think David Phillips has thought about anything - he has simply done what Peter Masters has told him to do.
Ask yourself why Peter Masters is patting himself on the back and proclaiming how proud he is of himself for the part in this deal? Our football club should be nothing to do with him and yet TUFC supporters have been denied the opportunity for a bit of self-determination so that Peter Masters can profit in some way'.BTPIR 12th April 2018: 'I find myself almost hoping that the snake Peter Masters (I guess on the field, Truro haven’t suffered under him) takes us over' If one lost sheep can be safely returned to the fold, then there is hope for all who went astray. Does anybody know anything about Mr Phathanacharoen other than he appears to own a property in Clifton?

I seem to remember saying, that my neighbour-ish played the Sackbut and was a Leicester (Thai connection) supporter.
With a bit of digging around, my mate found out the Thai gentleman’s first name and where he hails from...Diep, Phuket’s where he lives.
It will be interesting to see how this pans out. 😶

It is a bit of a mystery but as our stock rises, particularly if we get into the EFL then the club could be of interest to foreign investment which has surely got to be a good thing for us fans. Think it is a Mrs though and just a registered office/mailbox address in Clifton as CO details are for there also.

The Ben Gardener one is easy. Wikipedia vandalism (i.e. an idiot making stupid adjustments) on 15 November 2020, corrected back to Clarke Osborne on 19 December 2020 by Percy Mackrill.
Mrs Kawisara Phathanacharoen was appointed a director of Riviera Stadium Limited on 17 November 2020. As Rob says, the Clifton address is the company's registered office not her home address.
You do not have to be a shareholder to be a director, so this does not necessarily mean that she or an associate has bought shares in the club's holding company, let alone a controlling interest.
It has always been a mystery where the money has been coming from to go into Riviera Stadium Limited to be lent on to the football club.
It still is as far as I can see, although this could well be a clue.
Googling Phathanacharoen comes up with loads of references to a chief of police in Thailand who may or may not have anything to do with Mrs Kawisara Phathanacharoen.
