I said this wound happen in December. I'm surprised that it took this long. I new what I saw was impending doom and got no real response! I hate this situation beyond anyone's imagination but what I did when I witnessed that crap served up was to realise we were mucked and thus let go of the hope that kills you!

At least there is no end of season lap of honour embarassment this year cringeworthy that a club our size did that for just surviving in the national league i expect lord haw haw will have something to say later.And things will get far worse very shortly

Been out all day as it is the Mrs birthday but still hurt when the news came through that we were relegated even though I knew it was going to happen- the extraordinary length of time to appoint a new manager was probably the difference in us going down but heck of a lot going on at the club that is pushing us in a downward direction anyway.

How about this: as someone who has supported the club for over 63 years, and witnessed it come so close to achieving promotion to level 2 in the fifties and sixties, I am devastated and bitterly disappointed. I dread to think what standard of player we will be able to attract next season, because it is certain that none of the current squad will want to stay. This is the blackest day in the history of a once proud Football League club. It is not only a tragedy, it is an utter disgrace! |

In truth I think we all knew we were relegated weeks ago. ..which might explain the 19 replies. Totally agree with frankfurt gull.....both sad and disgraceful. Fear what will happen next season, especially as it looks like Owers will still be at the club.

I had always considered the David Webb era as the low point in the club's history. ..now it seems these were the good old days! Hard to imagine how low we have sunk and equally difficult to see how we turn things around. Absolutely tragic.

Wow...nobody saw that one coming!  I'm sure it's time to get a bigger trophy room!  TUFC are actually a quizzers dream. Fastest own goal (can't see that ever being beaten), first Devon club to get to Wembley, first ex-league club to play in regional southern football... ...whatever next? |

Register Reg, although it's not a quiz as such, can I bring your attention to the 'Most Users Online' thread. Have a look in an old diary for us if you would. I've a feeling it was around about that time that most of the TFF membership were hungry for updates as they were worried about 2 border collies of yours that were due to be spayed ? I won't put that forward as the probable reason for most logging in until you can corroborate the dates. Hope the dogs are still alive and well....same goes for Rob's spaniel  . |
