Nice one, Reg. Javid is the one the Left absolutely hate, and who they're currently throwing every racist insult they can think of at link: Corbynista Attack Dogs Spew Bile At JavidWhereas Khan is the TUST Militants poster boy, who currently presides over the ongoing blood bath in our capital city. #WindrushGulls

What’s wrong with the new Home Secretary? He's just come from overseeing the worst period of murders in London since 1888! I would imagine it was safer to walk around London when Jack was around than it is now! He's trying to arrange protests against the visit of Trump...the most powerful man on the planet...I would like to keep him on our side ~ wouldn't you? He's a fuckin Remainer! And another thing I don't like about him, he goes around impersonating Sajid Khan all the time...ggrrrrrr!

I always looked upon Corbett as some sort of silly old man who went around talking shit all the time, whilst pissing in his pants. On that subject, Corbett went to the doctors last week, and the doctor said 'Jezza, we're going to need a Stool sample, a Urine sample and a Semen sample!' The guy who went with Corbett said ' Just give the doctor your underpants Jezza!' Amazingly, people are still stupid enough to vote for him!

Come on guys - political views should be avoided on here as it can cause bad feeling. We all have our own views and opinions which should be respected so lets keep it to football eh?

Yep, to say we have gone off topic is an understatement! As for mistaken identity, Ronnie Corbett has been resurrected again so best to draw a line through this I think....

Wonder how the trial matches have been going and whether we will get any news about people Owers has been speaking to from outside the club soon. Probably a bit early for that, but you never know.

I'd agree with petef and rjdgull. A certain amount of overlap was reasonable and unavoidable given that some believe it was due to political opinions held or expressed that may be the reason behind them having membership of another ostensibly football Forum withdrawn either temporarily or permanently. You could hardly permit such a discussion and expect people not to mention the reasons. On reflection, Admin might wish they had acted over 24 hours sooner when a request for political views was posted i.e ' What’s wrong with the new Home Secretary?' which was, of course totally unconnected to past or future membership of BTPIR. Given the incredibly slim chance that opinions on what was 'wrong' with the new Home Secretary were going to be TUFC related, let alone football, it may have been seen as fairer to have insisted such a question be posed away from the football section, rather than wait for the answers to roll in. I fully sympathise with the Admin, who almost always show common sense in realising that no black and white separation can be made, and that numerous overlaps constantly occur. For instance, the Supporters Direct website, when recalling the very first Supporters Trust states: ' In this latter respect, the Trust marked itself out as being distinct from normal supporters' clubs, in that from its inception it has had an inescapably political dimension. By doing this, the Trust emerged from a variety of independent supporters' associations and other similar bodies, who have sought to change the way that their clubs are run and how they relate to their fans'.
It is the inescapable political dimension that Supporters Trusts bring to football that most fascinates me about them. With the football and political strands so inextricably woven that talking about one without the other would be useless and nonsensical. Just in the last few days we've had a post in the football section stating that the Liberal Democrat councillors' group are 'very supportive of TUST'. Also posted in the football section by a member of Admin, the opinion that the local Tory MP 'does come over well'.We can't and won't see such praise for certain politicians being forbidden in the football sections, particularly if they've expressed views favourable to TUST, so let's continue to put our faith in the Admin to provide a common sense approach and steer a sensible path. Of the retained list, I was a little surprised that Ruari Keating was offered fresh terms. But if you take into account what a probably 'non starting eleven' member of a National League South squad would be offered as a wage, I doubt Ruari will be much of a drain on resources. Owers should know the NLS like the back of his hand, and if he feels Ruari can be an asset to us, I'll go along with his opinion, given how small a financial gamble we must be talking about. Roll on the promotion season

Whenever it is, I hope the manager sticks to it, unlike the Renee Howe saga which dragged on throughout the whole summer!
