A few thoughts.
Difficult game dealt with efficiently .
Depth of squad strength tested and came through with flying colours.
We have suffered long enough.
Enjoying this rare luxury of win after win and success with the entertainment on the pitch improving by the week.
Important we had a result today to maintain our challenge - defeat would have put us down in 15th!
A bloody luxury having a proper manager at long last.

An important win as we are trying to make up lost ground from the poor start at the beginning of the season but also as it is against one of the teams near the top of the table that we need to win against. You can see why Johnson has removed those players not up to scratch because those players coming back from injury can do the job and for the first time feel we have strength in depth right the way through the middle of the park.
Looking at the results today, there is a lot of inconsistency out there and if we can retain our focus and form then actually have a great chance of winning this league!

A bloody luxury having a proper manager at long last. Actually more essential than luxury if we are to get out of this league but feels great to have someone that can really make a difference. You make your own luck but he has also had some good fortune along the way. Those first games against Lymington and Hungerford gave him the ideal opportunity to get off to winning ways and set out his stall. Having his son at the nearest Championship level club has given us a pool of young talent to draw upon. Injuries as always are a factor but players have come back in time so always has had a strong side to put out. |

Just made the 18
.03 off Paddington ! Played well, lovely first goal and great delivery and finish for the second right after half time. We sat a bit deep after that for my liking but another good finish from Reid finished the job. Must have been 400 ish Torquay fans...happy days !

Some folk like our lovely Mr.Barlow can't seem to see how much better Johnson is than Owers, there's even one idiot called Horler who seems to think Kev was in fact the worst manager at the club bar one! You couldn't make it up! Joseph explain yourself!

Goodness, the snow has arrived early this year! Woke up this morning with 4 inches ~ and as it doesn't happen that often nowadays, I decided to put a smile on Mrs Registers face for three minutes...then went to check the snow!  Bet365 are still offering 9/1 on us, so time to chuck some more money on I suppose. Have decided I will stop at 2! |
