Register (17th July)
It's now July 20th, yet not a word of confirmation or denial regarding the question we've all been hoping to get a definitive answer on. Which naturally leads on to speculation as to whether Reg has been paralysed by political correctness, gripped by fear that giving us an honest answer as to the 'Little Rishi' question (not to be confused with Little Richard who passed away in May of this year) might plunge him into a controversy reminiscent of the great 'British based Bulgarian unemployment rate' scandal that we all remember so well. Now to the fair minded observer that looked like a clear cut example of what the reader had chosen to infer, rather than what the writer had implied, but never the less, these rulings don't go to an independent tribunal, and it's quite possible that Reg's confidence got knocked back by the outcome.
But is that an excuse for currently not having the courage to spill the beans on Rishi ? Don't get sidetracked by worries over colour and ethnicity, and it boils down to a straight forward question of genuine interest. We've seen it ourselves in Devon, in fact on the very touchline at Plainmoor. Our very own height challenged Paul Buckle must have had a devil of a job finding someone like Shaun North to provide the flattering visual perspective as they issued instructions from the technical area. And so as we move on from the sporting arena to the political one, estimations are that Prime Minister BoJo is about 5' 8", pushing that to 5' 9" if he's wearing a pair of Carrie's heels. For his Chancellor, BoJo ideally looked about for someone to play the Shaun North role, and Little Rishi is ideally built to fulfill it.
The compliant media for the most part, acquiesce in portraying Chancellor Rishi as a colossus bestriding the British political stage, 2nd Bolshevik in command, with only Boris himself ranking higher. I'm sure that Reg has witnessed with his own eyes that the impression the British public are being fed of Chancellor Rishi has been stretched and heightened considerably .... but why the reluctance to reveal the truth ?
When official sources are confronted with requests for information about Little Rishi , all that is ever forthcoming is the unhelpful comment that he's taller than tiny Sadiq, the London Mayor. Well that is most probably true, but it's not the question posed.
Stop aiding the cover up, Reg. Tell us what you saw !
Goodness...Rishi has just arrived next door!
