One female Sleepy Joe hooligan to deal with That's nothing, think of the poor people of Torquay on this day 65 years ago when the Millwall hooligans came to town. Emphatic home win against opposition from up London way .... maybe a good omen for our home tie v Crawley this weekend ? London opposition for Exeter also. Sticking with the London theme, George Petchey who was the Leyton Orient manager when a few of us were growing up, scores for QPR. 5th November 1955

They are not messing about in our own court’s system right now with spitting at an Emergency Worker, which includes police officers under a more recent law change upgrading the old offence of Assault PC to an either way offence triable potentially in the Crown Court. You spit, you are fairly nailed on to pass that custody threshold for the purposes of sentencing.

Mrs Registers late husband was in the Met during the nineties and obviously took a lot of stick, but the one thing he wouldn’t tolerate was being spat at. What they have to go through these days...

I don’t think Millwall fans were that bad in the fifties were they? Don’t forget, they were still drinking water straight out of the Thames at that time, so it dulled their senses somewhat. Might go some way in explaining why the next generation became a bunch of inbreds though!
Exeter winning 1:0 again...if I had a pound!

Totally agree. It’s vile and, particularly in these time, potentially dangerous.

A difficult day for a lot of the Veterans who went to London. Of course they got wound up learning that they were being kept away from the Cenotaph, while the likes of Blair who started wars based on his phony dossier and that killed untold numbers of innocents as he kept up the pretext about WMDs, were getting VIP access to the area. Whether it's Khan, Priti, Boris or Commander Dick of the Met, they would surely have known it would be viewed as rubbing the servicemen's noses in it. Add to that, a lot of those old blokes would have seen that very same Police Force kneeling to certain other sections of society on those very same London streets just a few months back, and so the immediate heavy handed approach to be sent flying would have come as a bit of a shock. Particularly tough for the older ones, but younger generations, despite a bit of a quibble, understand the new pecking order. Britain 2020 is a very different place, and it comes as a sad and painful surprise to the old soldiers, as modern reality hits home.

Two of the reasons why this country is in the state it is. Blair can’t even hide the grimace/smirk on his face, wishing to be anywhere but there...why is he bloody there? Another pair of cardboard cutouts, in a long line of cardboard cutouts...Biden being the latest to join the line.
Who was the last decent American President...Kennedy. What happened to him, he was topped, and why, because he was different...ie, he wasn’t a cardboard cutout!
Who was the last decent Prime Minister we had...Churchill. What happened to him, he was shafted, and why, because he was different...ie, he wasn’t a cardboard cutout!
All this voting for Republicans-Democrats-Conservatives-Labour and thinking that their different, is a load of bollocks, they’re all the same!
Do you see any difference between those two walking to the Cenotaph...no! Their contempt for the miserable British public is mutual, their loathing of being there is mutual, their total disinterest for the soldiers who gave their lives for this country is mutual, their love for themselves is the same!
One day the British and American people will wake up...but not today!

Reg And well known former Editor of the Sun, Kelvin Mackenzie, has this morning been quick to follow up, endorsing Reg's opinion it seems. Incidentally, I believe MacKenzie is hoping to be appointed as the next Chairman of the BBC, and has already promised to shut down all BBC national radio stations other than Radio 4, so he's well on the way to winning the popular vote, even if the Government don't appoint him. Not that I'd also rate Reg as potential BBC chairman material, but I do think he'd make a damn fine editor of The Sun ....increasing readership, and maybe even tempting Richard Littlejohn back to the Murdoch stable. Back on subject, and what we're witnessing is a coordinated attack by certain old Remainiacs of yesteryear. On Sunday, BBC Politics put out: 'Sir Nick Clegg tells Westminster Hour it will be an uphill struggle for UK to demonstrate its relevance on the world stage to US President-Elect Joe Biden'While the first shocking point is that an institution such as the BBC should describe Sleepy Joe as 'President Elect'. I'd expect all TFF members to know that is complete rubbish, and that even in the increasingly unlikely event that it might be Joe, the earliest there can be a 'President Elect' is mid December .... (12th Dec I think, without checking). 'Britain will lose it's place on the world stage blah blah ...global power blah blah ....' were the same old lines trotted out unsuccessfully during the Brexit referendum campaign. I remember writing at greater length on one of the Forums that this would be a jolly good thing, and was an additional reason to vote for our freedom from Eurocrat rule. I hope Sir Nick and John Major are right. All we seem to do on the world stage is demonstrate what a loyal lap dog we are to the US and do the fighting in their wars. If we don't fail to avoid involvement with the new EU Army it would be just the same ... I somehow don't see the French and Italians leading the charge when the heat is on ! Let's separate ourselves from the poisonous politics that dominates the world stage. A breath of fresh air to be well away from it.
