Just looking at those results and both teams have won six games since 5th February but the big difference is Woking have played eleven compared to our eight and wonder if an element of fatigue is creeping into their side? Their winning percentage of 55% is significantly lower than ours of 75% and is consistent with the 77% win ratio in the league since Johnson came in with an amazing 20 wins out of 26 games.

aussie Too true it is Aussie, and I doubt there's any shortage of SJWs down under either.....but at least it must be easier for you to avoid the BBC now. I didn't get the joke either....and wondered whether you were mis-remembering Citizen Smith advocating 'Freedom for Woking' rather than Tooting . But now it's been explained, it's a damn fine joke. And just as appreciated is Flo's promotion countdown fixture chart. Updating and reposting must be a bit of a bind, but I refer to it often, and it's an easy and quick reminder of upcoming fixtures for both clubs. Lets hope it culminates in a happy promotion achieving finish, so that there will be celebrations in Devon, USA, and Australia.

Aussie please add Morocco to your list of locations celebrating Torquay's promotion. Fingers crossed.

Apologies aussie...just noticed it was Alpine Joe who made reference to celebrations in Devon USA and Australia if Torquay get promoted. Wanted Morocco added to the list. Guessing Germany should also be added to include frankfurtgull.

With 7 games still to go, we don't want to tempt fate. But some of the locations for wild promotion celebrations.....Devon, Australia, Germany, Chew Magna, Morocco, etc can be listed (I may well contract out the compiling and presentation of the list to Floridagull ) In addition maybe something along the lines of the Millennium beacons would also be fitting ? The beacons would form focal points for the celebrations, a la 2000. I can get something lit at Row Tor....Aussie will organise his bonfire at Ayers rock....Merse will burn a couple of cars out in front of Alexandra Palace so the flames can be seen over London.......Rob can pour petrol on his collected works of Karl Marx and set fire to it....or to Jeremy Hunt's constituency home if he prefers. No harm in having some ideas up our sleeves, even though it's still much too early to finalise anything.

I see the club retweeted a tweet from a new fan based in Arizona who is on a 100% win record following his conversion after watching the Netflix episode on us! Maybe Floridagull can open a USA branch of TUFC supporters.
Alpine - don’t forget the yellow vests in France who have a bit prematurely started lighting beacons all over France to celebrate our French speaking contingent helping the Gulls towards their first promotion for a decade.

Alpine is called Uluru now not Ayres Rock and you aren't allowed on it anymore without tribal elder permission and sure as your not allowed to light fires on it! My beacon will have to be on the Wollongong south beach! Stig no worries mate! Can the London gulls light their beacon by burning the houses of Parliament down please?

The table is looking even better tonight and we are now guaranteed a play off position for the first time and in at least fifth place although wouldn’t fancy Wealdstone coming here!
I think we were briefly 4 points clear at the top quite recently but with Woking having a game in hand, so with us now having a game advantage it completely changes the dynamics of the situation but need to get something from that game on Tuesday.
Woking maximum point return is 89 so if they did that we would have to win 4 of the last 5 games other than Woking or 3 wins and 2 draws. Win on Tuesday and not lose next Saturday and it would be a case of when and not if......

81 was our points total in 2004 and 2012, our best two campaigns in the league in recent times. Bettered that in the conference with 83 in 2009 and 86 in 2008. Obviously more games in those campaigns but 2 more wins would see us surpass them all.

No doubt about it. From 5/3 to 6/4 we have 6 very tough matches. 16 point return from those six, championship winning return
