Highlights for those unable to make the game. www.thenationalleague.org.uk/videosAnother cracking dominant performance in difficult conditions. Love the philosophy, drive and commitment we are consistently showing. Even last weeks performance, criticised by many was way above what we were producing under Owers not so very long ago. Of the seven goals Oxford conceded - In all honesty I thought they got off lightly and it could easily have been double figures. Something we have been threatening to do for the past few months and may still happen. Credit to Oxford City they didn't go "dirty" and kept going throughout and scored two decent goals when the game was lost but we quite rightly showed them no mercy. I felt a little for their very young no 5 who was slipping and made a few errors that lead to our first half goals. He would have learned from this experience for sure. Important to keep our aspirations and expectations in check the tables can be turned in an instant as we all know. All this last week I have been reading how Woking will now top the league and we would be fighting in the play offs, and in one weekend I'm reading we are already champions. Some very tough matches to come over the next couple of months though I have faith and believe we are the strongest team in the division and after viewing Wokings performance yesterday confirms we have nothing to fear if we continue in the current vein. Credit to all the players who put it in and left it all out their again yesterday. Jennah and Reid have built up a great understanding and are playing off each other - we look so threatening in that area now and what an engine Jennah has! So many great performances again yesterday with Ruari Keating coming off the bench and really contribute in a totally different way than Kalala does but still very effective. Ben Wynter also put his head in where it hurts and looks so much more composed on the ball than when he first arrived. Very impressed with him of late and very pleased we have him tied down on a contract. Only downer is the state of our pitch. I have no idea what they can do to improve it as its obviously an inherent fault/problem not easily or impossible to cure. The drainage still isn't adequate for whatever reason and even on the Popside when it had ceased raining the standing water was glistening in the floodlights for the entire match.

link - post match reaction from the Oxford manager - quite frank and also good time to play them as looks like they are short on players with academy players out there and others not playing in their usual positions. Looking to get 3 or 4 players in during the week and I wish them all the success in bouncing back from that game against Woking next week.

Liked their No 7 thought he had some quality for this level.

I felt a little for their very young no 5 who was slipping and made a few errors that lead to our first half goals. He had a mare of a game and was soooo slow for someone so young.
