Niate a little unlucky perhaps and was caught out with the flight of the ball in the wind initially and tried and I thought got to the ball when tackling the Dartford forward. But rules are rules and I wasnt surprised to see th ered card come aour=t as he was adjudged to be the last defender. Never seems to be any consistency though and when the Darford No5 scythed down Dickson late on it looked a certain sending off for a dangerous and potentially leg breaking challenge but we all know how inconsistent the standard of refereeing is at this level.
Buoyed by the performance today that's for sure these boys really do want this title.
Is the Niate card, one match ban?
Thought the leg breaking tackle drom their number 5 was a dead certain red, feet of the round and studs up from several yards. Would love to know the ref's reason for a yellow.
Dickson was a breath of fresh air, but I'd still like to get another couple of players in for the big push. The squad is thin and it would only take a couple of violent straight reds and injuries to disrupt our progress.
