No doubt on his day a match winner and on some days it doesn't go right. Today was one of his worst I couldn't be arsed performances I've seen for years (was he fit?) as every run he made, if he got beat he simply gave up. Johnston had to tell him at the end to get back on the pitch as he was heading for the exit as soon as the ref blew for full time. |

Thereby making it fairly nailed on Whitfield will be back in the hole on Tuesday with Edwards and Andrews on both wings. |

Just seen the goals again and our penalty was for a clear handball as Rooney slid through but the red card was for his reaction to it being awarded and loudly calling the ref a “t**t” is never a good idea. Their manager was not happy but at that point they were really lucky to have had only one penalty awarded against them. Also, they were very lucky that Little scored his first goal at the far post as Buse was pushed over just before when he only had to tap in on the edge of the six yard box and that would have been another straight red.

Kalala is a bit of an enigma. I’ve never known a player to be so hangdog but has shedloads of talent, potential to be the best in the squad and almost needs extensive sessions with a sports psychologist. |

Ye of little faith. Good win and Barrow’s seven League wins on the trot run comes to an end. It sounded like Armani Little did his same hamstring again right at the end. Hope he is not too long out, but would seem he’ll have a few weeks on the sidelines again. Let me apologise for that negativity, for a moment I was like my dog Karma, peering around a corner and imagining the worst! A lesson learnt...thank you. |
