I think we need some postponements, otherwise I can see our season going downhill faster than Eddie the Eagle on speed! Probably a bad choice, but I don't know the names of any other downhill skiers. Tomorrow we face the mighty Eastleigh, who haven't won a game since Noah woke up and found it was raining. Only result I can see us getting there, is if it is...well raining. The mighty Chorley travel to the even mightier Barrow tomorrow, where they (Barrow) will show how you beat the bottom club. If we hadn't had a bit of fortune (red card) against Barrow a few weeks ago, we would be twelve points adrift of them now. Not such a big deal in the league below, but in this league? So get out your Red Indian Head Thingies, and get dancing round the fire! So yet again we persist in the Carthorse Duku, instead of the 'Fleet of Foot' Olaf! I can hear the conversation in the Dumpling years from now: 'I think we should have played Olaf today!' 'But he's only Forty Three and not ready for the first team yet!' 'I'll tell you what though, I'll bet you a Curry he'll play in the next Ten years...what's your name again?' Some good points in there Register. With our side affected by injuries we cannot approach this game with much confidence. I also think Koszela should play as I think Janneh needs a partner up front, preferably one in form and knows where the goal is! We only played against Eastleigh two months ago and I think this is the first return fixture. Looking back at the match reports, we actually played quite well but could not take our chances and conceded an injury time winner. We were again affected by injuries for this game and it will be a real pity for Eastleigh to do the double over us as they are not a better team!

As if we weren't destined to suffer enough this evening already, with Andrew Neil scheduled to interview Jeremy Corbyn at 7pm on BBC1. So little recovery time before the potentially equally painful experience, tuning into the commentary from Eastleigh. One thing that might help is my decision to retire 'Terry Medford' after his final appearance (above). He's not brought the slightest bit of good luck and so it's just as well to trust to luck or leave it all in the hands of Buddha. Is a possibly still not fully match fit Psycho Janner as a lone front man our best option ? rjdgull suggests he could do with a supporting striker to lighten the load and given some more options. This is undoubtedly true ..... but on the other hand, is it our midfield that is particularly weak at the moment, and can we afford to sacrifice a body from that section of the team ? Formation and tactics so dependent on which of our bare bones minimum are still reporting as 'fit'. A look at the stats show that Eastleigh have lost the joint fewest number of games at home this season ( just the one, along with Bromley) Eastleigh's 'goals against' at home is second best in the league (9) and only beaten by leaders Barrow on a miserly 8. So the one thing that you can bet your house on as an absolute impossibility, is an away win for the youthful half crippled small bunch of players we can gather together for this trip to Eastleigh. So let's content ourselves in the sure knowledge that Clarke, George, and Gary are on the case. If panic measures are called for then that's what they'll instigate, and if there's a chance that the solution can still be found inside the building, then let's hope it reveals itself sooner rather than later. Good luck to Rumarni and all the lads this evening. A reminder of tonight's kick-off times: Jezza 7pm (Venue - BBC1) TUFC 7.45pm (Venue - Silverlake Stadium, Eastleigh)

Line up - 3 or 5 at the back again. Diamond Buse at base, Keating at top, Andrews and Whitfield either side?

Sadly and at this rate I feel by the time we get players back and match fit we will we be way down the table - hopefully far enough from the relegation zone. Belief and confidence has disappeared.

Might have been different had both Keating and Janneh not missed sitters before their penalty and first goal. Shambles. FA Trophy capitulation week can’t come soon enough to give us a break from League defeats and the chance of a returner or two.
