So, on the bench will be: MacDonald, Lewis, Little, Lemonheigh-Evans, Andrews

No place in the squad for: Law, Warren, Buse, Boden, Umerah, Waters

Quite an eye-opener really, and it will be time to send back most of the loans, particularly Street, Sheaf and the two standby goalkeepers, if they are actually still with the club. There seems to be an uncharacteristic reticence to issue updates about these players.

You're not far off Stewart though I would somehow find a place for CLE.
Must also consider Lewis or Warren for Sherring.
Done nothing wrong and I like him as a player but is not ours as Randell and Kipioka though this guy must start on Friday. Also struck me how slow Asa has looked in recent games I think we can only afford Asa on the pitch with the likes of Nemane and Whitfield in the side doing his chasing and covering.
Its the age old problem of continuing to try different things to gain some consistency and goal threat with so much disruption to the squad and starting line up. Not really surprised when you look at all of the facts and what weve had to contend with that we've lost our goal threat which inevitably puts pressure on defenders. W saw that on Saturday - failed to score from our chances and one mistake cost us the game. Just what happens to sides who struggle at the bottom of the table when they get in a rut continually trying different things to change it and failing.
I won't be long before we see a retained list though many of the squad will return to their parent clubs.
As you say there is on going mystery regarding the state of play regarding Nemane, Cameron and more recently Ben Whitfield who oddly played on for a virtually a full second period after being injured at Boreham Wood and has subsequently been absent for the last four hugely important games with no news or explanation. The only conclusion I can make is that Ben was far to eager to play on with a knock and it was down to him when maybe it shouldnt have been his decsion at all. And boy has that cost us.
Personally I don't see why there's so much cloak and dagger secrecy regarding injuries especially now were slowly sliding down the table.

Good news indeed Stefano but we need the support acts back also to get us back to speed up front though the new lad is a huge bonus. He has genuine quality, carries no psychological baggage and looks like he's up for the challenge.
If we can get back to playing "without fear" once again we stand a chance to at least make the playoffs. The timing of and a return to fitness of our other threats namely Nemane and Whitfield, will be crucial I feel and may be part of GJ's master plan

Had a quick look at all of the top teams run ins to the end of the season.
We have one of the most difficult sets of fixtures with some tough opposition who are in the mix at the top , Werxham, Sutton, Chesterfield, ans Stockport away plus Notts County and Eastliegh at home.

Sutton (Barnet home and away plus us and mostly mid table sides) and Stockport look to have an easier path Hartlepool a little tougher Wrexham's is also looking difficult.
Notts County have some fixture catching up to do and also have some testing matches ahead as do Chesterfield.

On paper its Sutton's title to lose and never say never but as we all know - "It's a funny old game"...
