Joe Felix first interview. He comes across very well and I can see him fitting in very well into a Gary Johnson team. Looks like he has finally seen a beach as well!

Catch up with Byron Moore Any news on his injury or has he left the building? Nothing but only just over 3 weeks since we saw him limping around during the first half at Weymouth. Even if he has recovered from that would have put his fitness back somewhat. Signed at the end of October but we do not know the length of the contract, would have thought at least 3 months?

We have 3 loan players in Perritt, Armstrong and Sparkes and likely that we will lose all three. Perritt is not getting a sniff in at the moment and has he gone back? With the rise of Martin recently, this has allowed Moxey to revert to the left side of central defence either in a two or three which is working very well.
Exeter’s issues with COVID are well documented and no doubt will be desperate to have him back when his loan expires on Saturday, also the transfer window complicates matters with Exeter maybe looking to sell players?
Although only scoring 2 goals, Armstrong has had a massive impact on the team in just 11 weeks despite illness, COVID and international duty reducing his appearances with us. Very obvious he has enjoyed playing with us and think like Sherring last year would benefit from some regular game-time in a team he knows and with the fan base 110% behind him. QPR may well want to assess where he is and of course they will have their own disruption from injuries, COVID and the AFCON so who knows the outcome?

Do hope we can keep Armstrong for the season. He is a nightmare for defenders. In their faces from the off.

From his Twitter page I understand ☹️☹️☹️ just wanna thank @officialtufs for having me on loan. Been a great experience overall for myself. Load of ups & downs but it's part of the game. Leaving a better person when I first came in, learnt lot about myself as a person & this is an experience I'll never forget, wishing the club, staff & all the players the best of luck for the future ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️

A real blow if we lose both Armstrong and Sparkes. We will need to bring in good players if we are going to push for the play offs. I am guessing Covid will limit the number of players sent out on loan by a number of clubs.

link - Dave Thomas article on the three leaving with Johnson’s feedback on them. Think getting players in will be difficult and maybe a light January schedule is not too bad a thing. With Little back on Saturday potentially should be able to field a stronger starting XI and with more confidence in the side it is like watching a different team since the Weymouth game. TUFC statement on Armstrong leaving

Very unfortunate, not only did the lad (Armstrong) have ability on the pitch, he was also a very nice guy it seems, because that Twitter thingy almost had me in tears.
Still, that’s the norm for TUFC…if a loan player is crap they stay with us until the end of the season and then we give them a two year contract, and if they’re any good…

Sorry to see him head back to QPR he made a big difference for us and added quality, muscle and pace to our forward play but inevitable his parent club need him back with the current situation and wont look out of place at that level. It does demonstarte that we still have our eye on the ball for decent players. The recent crop are as good as we've had in recent times. He and Sparkes gave the others the lift they needed and most have improved form. Whether brothers Johnson can pull off more quality signings is yet to be seen but we are at least in a much favourable position than before they arrived and confidence is high and the pressure for wins less once again.
Interesting that GJ plays down the negative interview he gave after the Yeovil game and has dismissed as nothing more than a normal but very tough week thankfully.

Two week break after the Dagenham game. Hopefully time to get the right people in.
Armstrong will be one to look out for higher up the food chain if he continues as he is. Strong, quick and quality. Very impressed by his contribution.

Very impressed by his contribution. Yep, looks like Johnson is on the case listening to the yellow Army podcast and while we seem to have lost out to two players, instead going to league clubs, sounds like there is an imminent incoming. Seems that QPR want to reassess Sinclair and train with him for a bit. Could go out on loan later in the season, possibly to a club more local to them so they can keep our eye on him. Probably a bit too optimistic to think he will come all the way back here but you could argue that Sherring and Randell did so well with us over the course of last season that they then comfortably made the step up to league one in the next. Somehow Sinclair only scored 2 goals for us and frustrating as he would have scored a hatful if he had stayed and that would have also set him up nicely for better things.

It felt like Sinclair had about half a dozen goals disallowed.
