All being well, Plainmoor will be hosting football 2 weeks today. I would expect most players to just have 45 minutes of pitch time and gives Gary the opportunity to try different combinations and formations and as he said in his interview yesterday, to test what is in his head on the pitch.

Right so under a week to go before the first of the four friendly matches. All of which are to be played behind closed doors but will be covered by TUFC radio. Thats my understanding anyway......is that correct ?

No clarification about what full coverage on the website entails and rumblings about the FA negotiating with the DCMS about limited fans coming to some of the PSFs at National League level. My guess is that there will be at least one, maybe two games where the clubs will admit initially 15% (not sure of what?) and then possibly 30% as a test run before the season starts properly

link - as speculated upon and a template for the whole season I suspect, the sum of £4 will enable you to stream this game.

Saturday afternoon sorted, isn't it? Marvelous. After all this time, feels weird being able to watch our team even if not the live match day experience. All signed up so hopefully ready to go in less than 2 days now.

link - matchday with choice of radio and live streaming. I wonder if the commentary will be the same or different for each platform?

Don't recognise half the names on the bench...guess they are youngsters.

I assume the same and if so I am so glad I got the pictures. As a radio commentary, that would be worse than useless. Possession stats : 95% Dave Thomas waffling, 4% commentator commentating, 1% total silence as Thomas forgot what he was talking about mid sentence. Huge swathes of action, including goalmouth action not even mentioned. Enjoyed the camera work and got the feel of watching a game live - far better than hundreds of closeup cameras and endless action replays. But ditch the co-commentator and get one who will shut up and let the commentator commentate. Best I have heard is Paul Bastard. More insight into what is happening on the pitch in five words than you get from Thomas in 5,000.

A tight game today that came out in United’s favour 3:2 Very few chances in the first half, Wright had a header just over and Connor seemed to be through on goal but a last ditch tackle saved the day for Hemel.
We started the better team in the second half but they had a corner whipped in and headed in from the near post for Hemel to take the lead. We got back into the game after a Wright penalty given due to a foul on Koszela from a goal mouth scramble. Another attack saw the ball come out to Cameron who smashed the ball into the underside of the crossbar and adjudged over the line. Umerah showed he had a nice turn on him with back to goal and used this to good effect to fire home from outside the area, unfortunately we switched off for a corner a minute later for another headed goal.
Some good positives today, Slough looked competent in defence, CLE enjoyed being in the middle of a midfield three, initially with two wing backs and then in a 4-3-3. Koszela had a good game and linked up well with Umerah.
Negatives, Nelson lost it a bit 20 minutes into a PSF and was taken off. Kerr has to be subbed after stretching for a ball. May have been cramp so hopefully not more serious with no sign of Warren today and Moxey suspended initially. Also quite a few players not risked today, with a little bit of luck, mainly niggles.....

I'll be honest I wasn't to sure about Nelson when we signed him and when Umerah signed I thought he might be our best bet as starting forward. I know it's only one game but I am concerned about Nelson's attitude, he behaved like a thingy and we can't afford that sort of player, glad Umerah got on the score sheet.
