Wow, not quite daylight robbery but after a period of sustained pressure in the second half the free substitutions of Hall, Randall and Britton certainly changed the complexion of the match. Britton in particular almost had a hat-trick, free header from Whitfield cross on the edge of the 6 yard box, deflected strike which hit the crossbar and then a shot from wide tipped over by their keeper, Nemane then got the ball out wide and his cross was met by CLE whose shot deflected in.
I have missed football 😀

KK would likely have disappeared in that first half, imo, Pete. Just finding our feet. Not sure on Umerah’s mobility and Wright’s first touch hasn’t been great up top. Covolan has looked both liability and very good. Sherring looks solid and composed on the ball. Whitfield again looks lively. Definitely advantage Stockport. One or two gone missing today Rob and would argue KK on his day would cause many problems for defenders today. Daylight robbery. Good work ethic but we were well short of where we all hope we would be today. If it ended 0-3 I dont think we could have complained. Covalan y MOM says it all. Subs made a difference and th eshot from Britton was top class from that angle. Have to be concerned by our lack of threat from Umera and Wright despite their high work rate. Nothing won or lost but good to have some live football to watch again.

What a fantastic three points against a very good Stockport team. More than I had expected given our injuries and pre-season.
Looked far better after the 3 subs with a much less lightweight midfield.
Superb production with good camera work, excellent use of action replays (not overused) and Dave Thomas was a lot less intrusive.
Good to see the team and Gary come over to the camera at the end.

Johnson interviews just come up on the live stream. We defended like Trojans but didn’t attack like them. Certainly a few issues to sort out but good to see Hall come on and the other substitutes make a difference. Sherring had a good game in defence but we are down to the bare bones in this area. Having Little back in midfield will make all the difference as well.

Need to get some players back to make any judgement long term. Credit to the new players and the ones playing out of position. Buse for all his hard work couldn't stop a cross all afternoon - I was waiting for the net bulge on numerous occasions. Hard work and lady luck got us the points today - GJ knows it, he isn't blind and will be looking for solutions. Despite his lack of pace Asa's know how made a big difference when they were tiring, finding space and always looking for the correct pass. Not sure if he would cope or have enough time o the ball from KO. Britton's two efforts were top class and a brave move to throw on three subs, two unknowns.
Attendance?
Marks out of ten please.

Does anyone know how many people paid to watch watched today's game. 10 out of 10 petef, I thought the coverage was excellent.

link - quite a lengthy post match interview with the Stockport manager - “the elbow” incident was mentioned to him, Umerah in the first half, really? Thought it was a massive overreaction from their player!

The club have kept mum in the PSFs and cannot see why they would release that figure now although like the attendance it would be good to know. STH’s would be included in that figure of course but we do not even know what that number is? I would hope with exiles and Stockport’s fan base it would be over 2000 but you do not know how many people share the live streaming.

Off to the betting shop then? No, after what happened last season (on and off the pitch) have decided to knock betting on the head! I think that pretty much guarantees...🥳🥳🥳😁😁😁

I actually listened to the game yesterday on TUFC radio and at one point there were nearly 300 people listening which i think is at least 50% down on last seasons average i believe. Obviously all down to any live stream options avaliable.
