It’s a funny old game, three injury time goals and we are one point off the top of the division, without them we would be level with 17th place Yeovil! The good news is that we have looked good value for most of those wins and on balance deserve the points against these sides likely to be in the top half of the league come the end of the season.
All three of our loanees started on Tuesday and shows what a valuable contribution they are making particularly as we have various players still getting up to full match fitness after injury. The only area we look light is up front and hopefully Umerah is over his niggle and available for selection and Nelson not too far off now.
It is nice to finally be playing a team that was on the wrong side of a thumping win when losing to fellow strugglers Aldershot 5-0 on Tuesday. They have also lost 3-0 and 4-1 to Stockport and Bromley respectively, teams we have already beaten. However, they also beat Notts County one nil on the opening day of the season which shows that no team can be discounted at this level and one bit of luck coupled with solid defending can sneak a win.

Everything is subject to the law of averages, so it’s about time we had a little bit of averaging out. This might be a good time for all that averaging to happen! The way they are throwing money about in the league, now might be a good time to get there and get some of it.
The Dover match should show one thing, are we the same old TUFC, or are we actually going to beat one of the lower teams...I’m not holding my breath!

I think I’ll watch the FA cup game on that streaming thingy...if I can manage to understand all that gobbledygook on the site! The reason being, is that there will be a crowd there!
All that screaming and shouting on the pitch is beginning to piss me off immensely, and when the highlights turn up, I quickly go to the goals and that’s it! In fact, I’m sure one of the players farted when they jumped to head the ball...I mean come on!
At least they have got rid of that awful slow motion bit at the beginning, showing that equally awful shirt, with that equally awful 1899! 🤬

Are you sure Sholing have a streaming service? I doubt it. Unless the BBC choose the game.

link - After their 5-0 midweek mauling Dover have signed 19 year old defender Bayli Spencer-Adams from Watford on loan and he has a good pedigree by the looks of things. link - Dover also have their match preview up as well.

Starts a bit earlier at 2:30pm today. Johnson just brought Moxey into a winning side last time out so not expected much if any change. Teams out shortly.... |
