Well not much change from half time so overall quite good for us.
Chesterfield 1 Bromley 2 Notts County 0 Eastleigh 1 Stockport County 2 Maidenhead 2
Leaders Hartlepool had an impressive 7-2 win away to Wealdstone. Just a pity it could not have gone on longer as Wealdstone came back from 7-0 down! Hartlepool are 4 points ahead but we have 3 games in hand.
Wrexham as well a good win 4-0 away to Woking, but they are 10 points behind us and have played a game more.
I am not concerned about our forthcoming games against Stockport, Notts County, and Chesterfield, but will deliver a suitable prediction on the match day threads! ⚽️
....and one for Jon.....
CHIEFS 43 Wasps 13 🏉🏉🏉

Terrible results for Chesterfield and Notts who really need to win their games in hand. With Wrexham, Halifax, Bromley and Eastleigh all winning they may be more concerned with hanging on to a top seven slot than hoping to sneak top spot.
Nice to see Stockport drop points at home too.
Hartlepool had an easy game but are clearly on form and must be favourited to cash in if Sutton and Torquay stumble. The big win gets them back in the game goal difference wise. They actually had one better than us at 7-0, just one worse than us at 7-2.
Come on Alty!
Wasps? Almost as daft as Chiefs. There used to be a band called WASP- short for “We are sexual perverts”.

Not a bad set of results to be fair and still the top three looking like contesting the top spot. Impressive result for Hartlepool who can see the finishing post and who have really come on strong after we destroyed them on their own patch. Means little now though. Stockport dropping points at home was a bonus lets hope Sutton do the same. It'll all be down to us and how we perform at the end of the day. Ensuring a top three spot is essential as back up but always hopeful we can pull out the stops and take the coveted winners prize.

Lovely to have a day NOT watching a stream. Beautiful morning and we diverted from our Coffinswell walk to come home via the Hare. Cheese sandwich, chips and a pint of Jail in the astroturfed garden. Small pleasures seem so much greater when you have forgotten how to take them for granted. Pleasant steak and Stella at the Torquay Beefeater lunchtime. We must have a couple of pints at the Dumpling 🍺🍺

I see that Danny Rowe had signed for Hartlepool and Stockport have signed a defender from Fleetwood.

Cheers Rob Let’s hope we get some of our injured players back soon or at worst for the playoffs "Hartlepool United completed a deadline day transfer hat-trick on Thursday evening to bolster the squad going into the final six matches of their National League promotion push as they secured loan deals for Middlesbrough goalkeeper Brad James and Fleetwood Town forward Harvey Saunders as well as a short-term permanent deal for left-back Zaine Francis-Angol following his release from Boreham Wood."

Eastleigh have taken the lead against Sutton. Got my son watching them as so far he has seen them draw 3 times and lose once!

I would not write Barnet off from taking points off Sutton on Tuesday. Barnet are much improved with 2 wins and 2 draws in last 4. A good away win today at Altrincham I am sure they will think they can get something against Sutton ⚽️
