Decent eleven but lacking an attacking option off the bench Don’t think we need it today 2-0 up but 2-1 now....

Pity only a goal to the good as could have scored another four in the first half. Some nice play to create both goals.

A shame they are still in the game as it would be good to be in a position to sub off our best players with half an hour to go. Maybe my expectations getting too high at times - let’s concentrate on getting the three points. Notts County down at half-time. Cody Cooke from Truro to Weymouth via St Mirren. Is Brian Stock related to Alec, isn’t it? Marvellous.

In control but reminding me a bit of League South games.
Soft goals conceded Shaun Mac having one of those games he has every now and then..

Maybe we can win a match 6-5 for a change.

Maybe we can win a match 6-5 for a change. 4-3 win. Not sure how we did not win that more comfortably. Weymouth had very few chances but made them count. Nicely worked winner late on, not bad with no strikers on the pitch. 10 goals in the last 2 games for us......

Brilliant result and credit we kept going till the end to win deservedly. CLE top player. GJ wont be happy with the defending but its inevitable we get the odd performances and games like this throughout and the back line is still a patch up job with Moxey still carrying some sort of knock and Sherring better beside Cameron. Need Wynter back asap to get the balance right again. Shaun Mac had one of his wobbly days as we all knowhe does.
Takes the pressure off a bit ahead of Yeovil who won convincingly today. That will be another tough game they are sure to want revenge. How can any of us moan looking at the league table?

Don’t think supporting Torquay is good for the heart....

Yeovil on Saturday will be a real battle by the looks of it. Hartlepool up to second after beating Notts County. Sutton now have 3 games in hand.

Couldn't agree more rjdgull...supporting Torquay at my age should come with a health warning. It was a lot less stressful when I was 12!

Glad to get away with three points after looking like we were playing them off the park for large chunks of the game.
Fair play to Weymouth. They stuck at it and gratefully accepted gifts offered to them.
Looked like the lack of fit strikers would cost us points as Umerah had run his race and we had nobody to replace him. Surprised we left Whitfield wide left and we were left with Lemonheigh-Evans up front and Andrews in the hole - sort of Barcelona style no centre forward. Fittingly we won the game with a tiki-taka goal.
GJ will not be happy with the defending, but pleased with the spirit and the will-to-win. We threw it away, but did not give up and got the job done.
Short on numbers today with six out injured. Have I told you about our first visit to Weymouth in our first season as a pro club? We had to borrow SIX players from Green Waves in order to fulfil the fixture.

Hartlepool have finished playing against 9 or 10 men for the last 4 games which explains their run somewhat. Sutton do not play either on Saturday plus still in the trophy so starting to look like fixture congestion to me. We are only 10 points off our points tally for last season so for the pessimists out there, our battle against relegation is going well but not safe yet!
