Have we turned the season around today? Far from it but we have at least stopped the rot. Clear to see we need players back to be consistently effective and contenders again.

Sutton have 4 successive away games now before their next home game, which is against us.
The fixture list still shows 5 away games before they play us, but one of those is against Dover. It really is time the National League Management sorted the Dover situation out, as it does not just affect Dover! ⚽️

Obviously we will lose three points soon, but others apart from Sutton and Notts County (maybe someone else in that top 11 sides, too?) will also lose points.

Exactly Rob.....it should not be for the fans to work it out for themselves....the National League Management have had weeks to sort it but have done nothing! ⚽️

Stockport, Bromley, Woking, Yeovil and Wrexham have all won against Dover as well. Eastleigh lost. Hartlepool and Halifax, Chesterfield and Halifax never played them. Boreham Wood only managed a draw. Could the PPG principle be invoked again after last season’s precedent? Does not seem fair that Notts get a loss expunged?

We really miss Wright as the spearhead of our attack and now both Whitfield and Nemane on the wings both of whom stretch defences. Andrew’s offers something different on the left now that Law can cover at left back but really need those three to get our goal scoring mojo back. At 23 Wynter was the old man of the back four yesterday with the others at 21, 20 and 21 and without the experience of Cameron, Moxey and Warren you can see why the Maidenhead debacle occurred.

Johnson post match feedback - vital to get the win but the manager thanks those fans giving positive support. ( with the honourable exceptions of Rob and Stefano 😉)

Could the PPG principle be invoked again after last season’s precedent? Does not seem fair that Notts get a loss expunged? I doubt it. There is already a long established precedent for expunging the results of clubs that do not finish the season (Accrington Stanley 1961-2, Aldershot 1991-2). However surely this has to be carried out before the season is actually finished, otherwise there is a risk of possible legal actions if some teams find themselves being significantly penalised by losing points after the final round of games (such as missing out on promotion or the play offs). Dover have committed enough offences to be expelled from the National League so why not get on with it?
