Andrews has responded really well since being back in an attacking role and given set piece duties. Fair play to him and his Manager. It's like having a new player. Very much hope for his and our sake that we don't ever see him having to take up a defensive role again. That player who got goals and assists and made things happen up the right end of the pitch is back with a vengeance. Well done, Jake Andrews. Keep it going.
Some very good link up play in that first half and good game management in the second, as others have noted. I wasn't as impressed as others with Armani Little, but he did put a shift in and the minutes under his belt will improve his creative threat and/or give us a strong option from the bench as players like Nemane and Whitfield return.
I thought Boden worked hard and don't think that chance was anywhere near gilt edged. He'll do as the lone striker with performances like tonight until the number 9 returns for me.
And yeah, Covolan is our best 'keeper.
