Tight at the top. Stockport are looking very dangerous with their recent signings and form and coming up fast from behind .
Getting more like a horse race each week with four clear on the home run and in with a chance.
Think we face them up their in a few weeks time....Gulp..

Just had a look at the highlight show and Lewis was definitely pulled down by their Striker for Notts first goal. They showed a replay of one of Umerah’s challenges with Ellis and didn’t think it was a yellow to be honest, Umerah was looking at the ball the whole time and got his head on it.

Well, well. Who would have thought a few short weeks ago we would be back on top. Nail biting few weeks to come. Indeed, 10 points behind Sutton at the beginning of the month and many understandably thought the title had gone but now just over 3 weeks later, played a game more and a point in front of Sutton, game in hand on Hartlepool and better goal difference. Who needs nail clippers?! |

We have a crucial game against them at their place, whoever wins that may finish higher up in the league. Thankfully, last game before crowds come back and we should have a stronger team by then. |

We seem to have pinched that one with admirable persistence. And GJ looked really bushed while making his post match comments. It seems to me it's been a very LONG season but right now, without hitting anything close to top form lately - we are TOP again ! Burchnall commented, "Notts County head coach Ian Burchnall was frustrated by Torquay United’s last-gasp comeback but praised his side for outplaying their promotion rivals for large spells of the National League clash" and "We could could have gone 3-1 up a couple of times and we hit the bar in the first half. With a game in hand on Hartlepool we need Sutton to slip a little more. The chances of getting top place is really ON which after our long slump after the turn of the year, is quite a surprise. If we get closer to best form, it's there. Only Bromley in the top seven match our points tally from the last 5 games and Stockport, though a threat, are 5 points behind. Neither Aldershot or Eastleigh will be a pushover but 2 wins would set us on our way again nicely !
