Need to up our game, little nervy on the ball at times but need to do the basics. Barnet slowing things down at every opportunity and their keeper lucky to still be on the pitch. Gifted them a goal and really could have let in one or two more with Randell heading off the line.

Really flat performance. No zip.
Excellent finishes for the two goals but other than that we have just not looked the part.
Think Johnson will rip into them in his half-time team talk. Let's hope it works and we come out looking a bit more lively.

Let’s hope we learn again how to win a game again by the time we play our first play off match.

Title gone with a very poor performance, never looked comfortable even at 2-0. 3 points from the last 9 has handed Sutton the title on a plate. So frustrating.

Well that was a right Royal F**k Up! Still we are assured of a home semi-final for the play offs although that would seem likely to be against an in form Notts County.
Still no need for me to be gloomy the Rugby Union European Champions Cup final La Rochelle v Toulouse has just started, so at least I have some proper sporting effort and commitment to watch for the next 80 minutes! 🏉
Look on the bright side. Barnet can beat Sutton and so can Hartlepool. All we have to do then is win at Altrincham.
Now that may prove to be the sticking point! 😉⚽️

Well at least I won’t have to worry about possibly bring not at the play off final - no way we will win our game.
Another 2 points dropped against a decent but time wasting side given the ok by a very poor ref. Very, very shameful tactics by Barnet - I think they’ve taken a bung from Sutton.
One word - double feck and arse ☹️

Well Barnet are the bottom club (by default maybe) and any chance of us beating them would have had to come from Divine Intervention!
Expect Sutton to put at least six past them, because that’s what Champions do.
Is there any team that knows how to ruin an occasion like TUFC? 🤦♂️

We looked generally jaded and lackluster all afternoon despite two good early strikes the second from CLE which was classy. That's sadly where all the plus points ended. Barnet, the divisions whipping boys looked up for it and more than matched us many areas of the pitch.
Worrying to see players out on their feet and knackered at the final whistle lots of effort and energy spent but much of it misguided - have we over trained this week? Barnet, despite playing at Solihull on Wednesday mysteriously looked the fresher side. After a pretty fabulous performance last Sunday at Stockport I guess we all expected much more but as been mentioned we will be facing teams on the up in the playoffs and undoubtedly if we play like that well be playing in this division next season. Good to be back on the terraces though very little atmosphere and very little to lift the fans on the pitch but gained the point required for the "easier" route to league 2 though god help us if we got there and gave performances like that one today. Last battle next week up at Alti maybe time to rest a few and give a few some rest before the games that really matter.

Probably best to rest a few players next week and get ready for the playoffs.

It never felt like we were really "at it" yesterday. I was expecting us to rip into them from the start but we looked lethargic and off the pace. It was incredible that we got to be 2-0 up as we did not deserve to be - although the two finishes were sublime. On balance, we were probably lucky to get a point.
I have always worried about Sherring and Lewis at centre-back because of the lack of experience and both being right-sided players. They have done well together recently but were a disaster yesterday.
Interesting what Johnson said about Sherring. After he was substituted he admitted he had been having a problem with his back and was not quite right. You could tell Johnson was furious about that. In fairness to Sherring, for most of the season he would have been told to suck it up and get on with it as we only had three or four fit (or nearly fit) defenders available. Yesterday, Johnson had a tough decision on which one of five to leave out. He decided to let those in possession keep the shirt, although he would have known bringing in Cameron would have given us a little more experience and a lot better balance on the left side of the defence. If he had known Sherring was anything less than 100% fit, it would have been an easy choice. As GJ said, Sherring was "trying to be the hero" but should have been honest about his fitness and let the manager and physio decide. I am sure Johnson will not hold a grudge long as young Sherring has been magnificent this season. Hopefully that will be a lesson learnt and the experience will be put to good use in a long and successful football career.

They have done well together recently but were a disaster yesterday. Agree with all of that but also thought we were a bit nervy yesterday and chalk and cheese from the performance against Stockport. Did notice that Sherring made 3 uncharacteristically minor errors early on before conceding the penalty and not being 100% would have explained that. We showed glimpses of the quality we can produce with the two goals and then had a succession of chances that would not go in and it ended up being one of those days. At least the Sutton win today made it all academic. TUFC match reportJohnson post match thoughts

Hghlights.
Looked a good game on You Tube and I guess it was if you were a neutral. Barnet were good on the day. Pretty obvious it could have gone either way.

Is this match being viewed with such disappointment that it has practically been banished by not being pinned to the top of the matchroom section .
