Interesting to establish how it was gashed? Their player’s studs raked all the way down as they came together. Didn’t look malicious.

Now that the dust is beginning to settle on Sunday's game/debacle (delete as you feel appropriate) my thoughts on the forthcoming season. I actually feel much more positive than I did at the beginning of last season. Last season I thought we might be in with a chance of grabbing 7th place if we were lucky but as it turned out we were fantastic, GJ proved that even at the end of his career (because this is surely his last club) he has lost none of his ability or desire to put a team on the pitch that can compete. It was the play-off against Notts County that really inspired me; that is still not our best line-up but the performance was outstanding. Some of our players have improved no end, and if we can retain the core of the squad I think we will be there or there abouts again.

Mightily disappointing having played so well and having finished in 2nd place in the table we deserved promotion.
What will be will be and there are positives for every negative .... had we been promoted we would not have been allowed another crack at winning the FA Trophy. 😉⚽️

I hope it is not a close game today. I feel the need to be relaxed watching it! Sorry to see the Chiefs didn’t win - how close was the 2 point loss?

Couldn't have been closer of course a late penalty within 40 metres of the posts would likely have given Chiefs the win. Not a single moan about the referee either most refreshing 😉🏉

The result didn't really matter Rob such setbacks normally galvanise Exeter going forward. Rugby was the winner 🏉
