88' Wright makes it four for Havant. At least you’re not buying curries all round!🤣

I don't want to over-react, but when Gary Johnson said "I will give up on some of the players before the fans give up on me", I wonder how close he is to the fans giving up on him? We shall find out on Saturday. A defeat at home to The Linnets could see the Pop Side turn irreversibly against our manager; unless the two loan signings can give this team the jolt it needs.

Don't like to judge a game I haven't seen, but if the commentary was accurate it seems we are very lucky only to lose 4-2.
Sounded a far more one-sided game than that.
I don't even think H&W are any good.

unless the two loan signings can give this team the jolt it needs. Unfair to pitch a couple of inexperienced teenagers into that rubbish and expect them to transform things. We need at least one of Hall and Lapsle, preferably both, to be competitive. King's Lynn are rubbish, but they must be rubbing their hands in anticipation.

Sounded an absolute shambles, outplayed over two games against lower league opposition, only four subs on the bench and yet again another match where we finish with 10 men. We better hope these two new loan signings are decent or we are facing a relegation battle. This squad just not good enough.

I listened to the BBC Devon commentary and their verdict was damning. If they perform on Saturday like they performed today then this team will show that it simply isn't good enough to stay in the National League. Like you, Jon, I want to see this with my own eyes before casting judgement. With three clubs being relegated, and Dover are clearly one of those, then we may escape by means of there being two worse clubs than us. But it will be a close run thing on our current form. I'm rather looking forward to being proved hopelessly wrong and us ending up in the top half by the middle of May 2022.

Oh well there is always the FA Trophy. Should have gone for it last season really when we had the chance! 😉⚽️

Oh well there is always the FA Trophy. Should have gone for it last season really when we had the chance! 😉⚽️ Time for some Voodoo magic Stefano 🙄. Amazing how we have regressed in just a few short months but not surprised just as i wasnt surprised by the performance or result last night. Once teams get into that losing and poor performance rut its difficult to get out of and it will need one or two strong "experienced" player signings and some careful man management to change things for the better. Not a fan of lambasting players as not good enough publicly as GJ did a few weeks back as it can destroy confidence and unity. I thought that was a mistake and was pandering to supporters "what they want to hear". You signed them Garry! We can all dream of getting back into the football league but in reality we missed our opportunity and in any case i fear we would have struggled at the next level and we will continue to languish at this level or lower for years to come. The last time we were promoted from this division i can recall the relief that we had done it and that those in control would realise just how precious that achievement and status was and we would never ever be in the position of losing our league status ever again. How wrong you can be and now were back to "our" level it looks as if were making the same mistakes again and could easily end up slipping back to our lowest ever level. All caused by a very successful season. Now thats a paradox if ever there was one

Oh dear, out of the FA Cup at the first hurdle again. Never mind though, because as has been mentioned we still have the competition that everybody loves coming up!
Interesting game coming up on Saturday, because the way we’re playing at the moment I doubt we could beat Vera Lynn, let alone King’s Lynn! 🆘

I think you may be right when you say it was pandering to supporters, equally he was probably trying to hide his embarrassment at finding his signings are not up to it. I think the most likely thing that happens when managers resort to that kind of comment is that they "lose the dressing room" and there is no way back from there. when that happens you either get rid off the manager of get rid of the players, and it is considerably easier and cheaper to get rid of the manager.

Chesterfield away to Chelsea in the 3rd round of the FA Cup - good cut of the gate money and dare say live in TV, oh well 😢 We were never going to catch Chesterfield anyway, so good luck to them in the third round, which of course they have a chance of winning because the top clubs aren’t arsed with the FA Cup anymore…an experience we’ve never enjoyed! Of course the FA Cup will have faded from our minds when the next Cup competition comes along…the FA Triffid or something? I’m also sure that certain members will be sat on the edge of their seats picking their Psoriasis scabs off their body (one of my few pleasures in life now) awaiting the news of which non-league shit-hole we’re headed for! 🆘

I see there’s live games cup games Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - FA cup games and not replays - money talks I guess
I shall be cheering on Boreham Wood as a season of curry’s beckons…
