Is it so bad to consider local derbies next year: Weymouth, Bath, Oxford City, Taunton Could your list include Plymouth Parkway?

Just braved the highlights expecting a nightmare performance but was surprised by how much possession we had and by some passages of our play was pretty good that is until we reached their penalty area. Despite what looks an apparent one sided hammering on paper some of our play was a vast improvement on one or two earlier performances. When you're up at the top everything seems to work and drops for you on a plate conversely its the opposite when your struggling. 6-0 was a little harsh on us though i thought. The effort was there until the final whistle,we need to build on the good but not ignore the bad and despite airing my views in an earlier post that some would regard as depressing, i do still care as we all do and who take the time to post. Depressing as our form is there's still plenty of rime to turn it around and GJ, who is not blind at our shortcomings needs support from the club and supporters as i fear dropping down another level for a second time would have serious long term consequences for the club.

The results on Saturday have Torquay 70 places below Plymouth Argyle and 61 below Exeter City. Has there ever been a greater divide between us and our Devon rivals. Don't think the gap was so wide even when we were in NLS. If it carries on like this Argyle will be playing West Ham and we will be playing the likes of Swindon Supermarine, Truro and the Urchins of Hornchurch. What a state of affairs.

On a more positive note.. Brighton have done quite well. I remember when we beat them 2-1 ( forget the year) at Plainmoor on what must have been the coldest day for years on an icy pitch in a game which should have been called off. Our winner was absurd...three Brighton defenders slipping on the ice and the ball rolling into the net. Brighton fans jumped up and down and chanted " You're better than we are". Always had a soft spot for Brighton ever since.

Surprised we played Donnellan at the back and Hall midfield and not vice versa.
Hall’s days of charging around in midfield for 90 minutes are probably gone - although not sure Donnellan is any fitter than he is.
Three at the back needs a leader to conduct the orchestra. Moxey or Hall. In teams gone past Impey or Watson. Donnellan, Marshall and Omar is like the blind leading the blind. Three with no organisation will just get in each other’s way.
If only we could have two of Moxey, Hall and Lapslie always fit then we could have a leader at the back and one in midfield. Seems like we are lucky to have one of them fit, let alone two.
