The club has no ambition any more i just feel they're just letting it all happen now. No statement of intent or investment from the owners who seem content to let the slide continue. Two more raw recruit's turn up and yet another game mostly dominated by the opposition. The issues we face now run far deeper than the manager and feel that this gradual demise and obvious lack of investment in the good players we had and the dross we've ended up with has been the real long term plan all along. I see relegation as a certainty if the current policy is allowed to continue. No bouncing back first season again and likely dropping further down the leagues and left with a ground too large to continue financing in the depths of non League and a squad of part timers. Hope I'm wrong.

Well just bk from York couldn't believe what was watching, we seem clueless, as u all know I am usually positive years gone by, but this squad gj has created is worse than when we got relegated to national south, right but then we are capable of going on a run as we did last year, do we stick with gj that's another issue, u guys know more than me, but we have to stay positive, stop laughing all of u, we can feel sorry for ourselves, but no dig in and work through this, good to see bout 250 made the trip safe journey home.

So out of the two new signings we have a full back who according to the team sheet is playing centre forward, and a winger who didn’t even manage to get in a team bottom of the league. 😳 Pay no attention to the "formations" on the BBC, at our level they are just names pulled out of a hat and bear no resemblance to the actual side. According to them Moxey is up front! Yes, a company that pays Garry Lineker millions to look upon the lower leagues like shit on his shoes is hardly to be trusted. Draconians tonight, so will have time to tell all about why this period is very fortunate for us…maybe. Also, a very interesting song and analysis on the ‘what are you listening to’ thread later.

To add injury to insult...Martin off after 19 minutes! How many more injuries? Something not right.

Far too much negativity about the present league position and Gary Johnson. A very narrow defeat today against a pretty good side is hardly a sign of a forthcoming relegation disaster. Talk about sacking Gary is totally unjustified. Yes he's having a difficult time at the moment but I'm absolutely certain he has the ability and the experience to turn things around. Obviously it would be helpful if further financial resources were provided for investment in the team but that may not be a realistic option in the present economic climate. Those calling for Gary's head ought to be careful what they wish for- remember just how awful Hargreaves, Owers and Nicholson were

So this is my take on the situation:
We all had/have dreams about taking on the big spenders and being in the mix at the end, but in reality that was never going to happen. Wrexham scored seven today, about what we have scored all season. We had our one and only shot at promotion a few seasons ago, but decided to emulate the Dinosaurs and go out in a blaze of glory. The Dinosaurs were destroyed by a rather large rock…we were destroyed by a rather large piece of shit.
In truth, this season was over for us before it started, but now at least we have something to play for…survival! I can remember the euphoria (just like promotion) when we drew at home with Boston some years back…what a feeling.
Yes, November the eighth is coming up and Sam Gamgee is waiting, but if we can get over that hurdle I believe that we will be heading for a glorious sunrise. 🌅

A good FA Cup run would certainly lift the spirits. Dare to dream? Probably makes sense to judge the team more on performance than results.Key question has to be....Are we improving? Hopefully the 2 recent arrivals will help.

York beat Barnet 1 nil to go 7/8 points clear of Torquay.
More shite tomorrow if Gateshead beat Yeovil 😢
