4-5-1 says Woodsy but not sure who where. Assume in doubt are Ness and Donnellan - one at right-back, one at centre-back. Smith and McGavin one wide right one centre-midfield. Ness in the centre with Ellis, so Donnellan right-back.

Floodgates? Hope not.
Hope we don’t buggar up Lapslie and Hall for Tuesday.
The game against Aldershot is far more important than today or Derby.
Would rather lose 10-0 today and win 1-0 on Tuesday than lose 1-0 today and draw 0-0 on Tuesday.

Gateshead, Yeovil and Aldershot all winning.
Let’s hope County decide to declare and go easy on us.
No point wasting your joker on a game you have no chance of winning. I would take Hall and Lapslie off (saving them for Aldershot), move McGavin and Donnellan into centre-midfield, risk Tomlinson at right-back and Thompson wide right and cross my fingers hard.
I would happily look a fool if we come back and win 3-2!

Ness for Okoli seems a straight swap (maxing us out at five loanees). I wonder if Okoli is injured, deemed not get enough or just pulled out of the fray for his own good. Wonder what the story is with Okoli. Just googling Ness a bit and he does seem to be an out and out centre-back. Okoli out of the squad, Tomlinson and Omar on the bench yet we are woefully short of attacking options. Nothing against Ness, but seems very strange use of a precious loan space.

Lapslie lasts 77 minutes.
Thompson becomes the second trialist this season to get a league match as part of his trial. Wonder if he will last longer than the last one.
Ellis now off replaced by Tomlinson - who seems to have moved above Omar in the pecking order.
How many of Lapslie, Ellis, Hall and Moxey will be fit for Tuesday?

Omar for Moxey, so Hall drags his ageing body through ninety minutes.
2-0 quickly becomes 4-0.
The nice thing about being a pessimist is that you can be pleasantly surprised if you lose four or five nil.

Could have been a lot worse. At least we have Ellis back... and only one yellow card today. Things are looking up!

It’s not getting thrashed at Wrexham and Notts County that gets you relegated.
It’s taking two points from three home games against Scunthorpe, Maidenhead and Altrincham that gets you relegated.
Need six points from home games with Aldershot and Dorking to make up for that.
Far more important to bag points in those two games than focus on a heroic defeat against Derby County.

Most of us were expecting worse. Yet another scratch side more injuries and sidelined. You do begin to wonder when our fortunes will turn. They will at some point but by then it could all be too late. Yet another pen conceded cant help thinking it has something to do with where we are in the division and the large home crowd baying for blood. Seen it so many times at Plainmoor with teams the bottom feeders who struggle and even play good football only to punished just a swe are at the monet every week.
The fundamental errors made in the transfer market and failure to retain our best players are going to be very difficult to remedy in the short term and I do wonder if we will soon be completely out of touch from those above us and who are picking up points. Hopefully there will be some positives to take from this game, surely an experienced defender is sure to have made some difference but you do wonder how many are still carrying knocks and who will actually be fit for the next battle, a battle we simply must get something from though single point will feel almost as bad as defeat.

Two goals in 87 minutes with Moxey on. Two goals in three minutes with Omar on.
At that rate, if we’d played 87 minutes with Omar on, it would have been 58-0.
