Much better today. Defence looked more committed and organised and having to find an alternative to lumping the ball up to Jarvis, saw us moving the ball around more precisely and through different channels.
We did waste plenty of possession though, and too many crosses were either blocked by their defenders, or failed to reach our attackers-Stobbs often delays his crosses for too long as he switches the ball to his left foot.
Dolan is confident on the ball and Williams has the pace to offer us something different upfront. Hall playing just behind him worked quite well and is an option for the last 20 minutes or so of a game.Ash as the lone striker is clearly not going to work.

Just about deserved the win. Took a lucky deflection to win it but we had a few shots from distance and the more you try your luck the more chance you will strike lucky.
Not a bad performance but not a convincing one.
Formation still wrong for me. Bradley Ash is no Rene Howe. Target man is just not the right role for him. One up top needs to be a leader of the line who can hold the ball up and bring others into play. Williams looked less uncomfortable than Ash but not his position either.
Brett McGavin is no Damon Lathrope anchoring the midfield from in front of the back four. Bath were not good enough to take advantage of being allowed a free run at the centre backs. Yeovil will be good enough if we let them.
Williams was initially a like for like swap for Ash and it looked like Craske and Hall would be like for like for Moxey and Lapslie, but Craske was pushed up far more than Moxey. You would think that would free Collins to play up top alongside Williams, but he slotted into Lapslie’s role and Hall was more or less a makeshift centre forward.
I hope that Lapslie and Moxey came off as a precaution and that they will be fit for Yeovil. We will be in trouble if they are not.
