This is the first of fourth consecutive away league fixtures just interspersed by the FA trophy game against Yeovil next Saturday which is at home and we need to improve on just 2 leagues wins out of 7 on the road. Havant and Waterlooville are stuck with a 5 point gap at the bottom of the table and while it indicates this is a match we should be looking to win, they will be fighting for their divisional lives and look at what happened on the open day of the season against Dover who are the team above them. Not sure if Dolan has recovered from his illness, yet or if new signing Ethan Archer will be ready to take part. Suspect Lapslie and Halstead will still be out and all the injuries are definitely a millstone around our necks at the moment. link -TUFC match preview

I know we may be struggling to have eleven fully fit players, but I think it is a blessing in disguise if we do not have a chocolate teapot sitting in the holding midfield role. Mind you, we may end up with Ryan Hanson starting!
Hanson cannot time a tackle so ends up getting booked every time he makes one. How the hell has McGavin managed to rack up five bookings? He hasn’t even tried to make five tackles, has he?
Asa Hall on a zimmer frame must be the preferred option.
It is still perfectly possible that we will win because Havant are so poor, even by National League South standards.
So Gaffer. Six points from three games Gaffer. Promotion form Gaffer.

Terrible commentaries today. Club radio keeps cutting out, and who are the clowns on Radio Devon?

Terrible commentaries today. Club radio keeps cutting out, and who are the clowns on Radio Devon? Yes, got back in 10 minutes and two of the game and the club radio is very poor. I was going to switch to radio Devon in the second half… link - line up - no Halstead or Lapslie as suspected, Ethon makes his debut. 0-0 at half time.

So two unfit start, two unfit and two useless on the bench.
Dolan for Hall and De Silva for Archer after 70 mins expected.
Sub keeper replaced Lovett at half-time, so Crowe and Thomas will not be leaving the bench - unless Dolan is too sick to get off the bench.

Sounds like two very evenly matched sides - us and the team five points adrift at the foot of the table.
Why do the BBC bother with co-commentators who know nothing and add nothing to the commentary?

Good news penalty saved.
Bad news Crowe is on.
That seems to suggest neither Dolan or De Silva is anywhere near fit.
Is it Archer off? We haven’t got anyone called Nathan have we? BBC thinks Nathan has gone off.
Can we hold on for a heroic victory Gaffer?

Excellent from the young ‘keeper loanee. It’ll be Archer. Co-commentator has been calling him Nathan all day.

De Silva on for Williams.
Hall will have to play 90 minute which will probably buggar him up for weeks.
Struggling to hang on against a team five points adrift at the bottom.
But a heroic victory would keep the cracks papered over for another week.

Cheers. Must be someone left at Fleetwood we’ve been tracking for a while? Hold on, boys.
Edit - Or go on, Ash. Nice. 2-0.
