Absolutely crucial game against a Truro side that got a good point against Aveley on Saturday evening. It was even better, considering they played on the previous Thursday as well, whether we can take advantage of that remains to be seen but even a point would be useful….. link - TUFC match preview

I see Archie ‘I’m a left back’ Harris had rocked up at Truro.
We have been crying out for a LB all season, why did he leave us? Was it GJ buggering him about?
JC 😡

JC 😡 He preferred to sign Dan Martin, despite knowing him to be unfit, because he “liked him”. Truro have three left backs better than Martin - Law, Riley-Lowe and Harris.

I imagine Booth comes into the 16 for Dawson. Or will Jarvis or Martin rise from their sickbeds to provide more options?
I suspect that neither Ofori-Acheampong nor Hall will fancy ninety minutes on an artificial surface so would not be surprised to see both on the bench.
I would be tempted to bench McGavin and Stobbs too and would consider playing Booth as a holding midfielder.
Recurring nightmares of opposition strolling through our midfield unopposed.
That would mean starting Collins. I have been as unimpressed as anyone by his performances so far but he would be fresh legs having not played Saturday. You would hope that he would be looking to put himself in the shop window.

Safe trip, I’m off to Exeter tomorrow to see a Frank Zappa tribute band with Brucie bonus of an ex band member playing 🎸

link - Ash, McGavin and Tomlinson come in for Dawson, Marshall and Archer. No sign of Marshall, Archer on the bench.

Very sensible substitution. Was already on his last warning with the ref. Hold on, boys.

Great call by Downes leaving Marshall out. Siege mentality of ‘all in it together’ does the business. A welcome three points.

We still might need to win the last game of the season.

More relief than joy for me. Thankful their goal scored with only a minute left on the clock or we would all have been sweating. Still work to do, Taunton away could be a decider if we get nothing at Bath and lets all hope its not in vain.
