I hope the person in black never officiates a Torquay match again, dreadful decision making from start to finish . Ridiculous decision regarding our ‘third goal’. You may very well be right. However I think that the reason we threw away 2 points was more to do with the inability of our players to get their head over the ball when they shoot. How many shots went sailing over the bar in the second half from inside the box? Yes, the keeper may have saved them, but get them on target so he has to work. We can blame the ref for the result, however our defending for both their goals was abysmal: the player with the initial shot was the one that followed up and scored their equaliser. He ran past Cooke to arrive unmarked into our box for his shot at goal, then waltzed past two players (including Cooke again) to pick up the rebound. For their first goal, both Dreyer and Foulston were marking the number 9 who peeled off both of them to head home unmarked. Had he missed the ball entirely, their number 18 was similarly unmarked behind him. Blame the ref if you anyone wants to, but look at our failings at both ends of the field as the real reason we didn't win yesterday.

I don’t blame the ref for losing the game and was mearly expressing an opinion, but would say that our defending was piss poor and don’t get me started on the two 6 yarders over the bar 😟 what do they do in training? It looked the Lino changed his mind just after the keeper went over - I’m sure it was more complicated that that 😀 you had to be there to witness the refs decision making 😟 akin to Custer saying “let’s head them off at the Little Big Horn” I’m still having nightmares 😵💫

I don’t blame the ref for losing the game and was merely expressing an opinion, Sorry, that was poor posting on my behalf. I didn't mean "you" as in you, I meant you as in "one", or "some people"... akin to Custer saying “let’s head them off at the Little Big Horn” With the same result!

Looking at the highlights, do not think our player was impeding the keeper or interfering with play and their keeper was very much unsighted by a number of his own defenders directly in front of him. However, he complained and walked up to the Lino with the other Chelmsford players joining in to get the goal overturned.
