So it looks like the game kicks off at 7.30pm, it was on .com as 7.45pm and that is where Jimd got the information from, to put into the forums calendar, even the H.E. is saying its 7.45pm. .com now has the game starting at 7.30pm
Lets hope for a good result and some positive vibes to keep those who seem concerned, something to smile about.

Brett Johnson eh? Interesting as he was a fairly prominent defender with Northampton until this summer, and he'll know the BSP well from his time at Aldershot and loan at Ebbsfleet (I believe) 6'1" and well built. Another indication that Woods and Robertson may be leaving sooner rather than later I reckon.

Its clear Nicholson would lose that place to Hodges, so I see this as a move to have a new left back with Hodges then free to play in midfield

Its seems Brentford has offered Brett Johnson a contract, this followed two weeks of talks. So has he turned it down, it would seem so if he is here on trail tonight.

We'll have to wait and see, the lad can play left back and is only 23. He's apparently been made an offer by Brentford but I don't think they can compare with us regards wages and to be frank they've a bit of a dead beat reputation amongst players these days what with having no money nor manager of note. Our club do seem to be an exciting proposition amongst players in the game and that counts for a lot when there is competition for signatures. I would still say that if Johnson did come on board, there would be a departure or two from amongst the designated central defenders; and that would point to the ones with least to offer which have got to be Woods and by the very nature of his limited opportunities and the fact that he is listed - Robertson.

I agree that at least one would go, you would expect, looking at the starting 11, it would seem that Hodges is in midfield and Nicholson playing left back, so Johnson must be playing along side Todd.
It is good that we now seem to be able to attract players here, gone are the days when we heard, players don't want to come to Devon, now who said that? ;D ;D

So should we have had at least one more game before the start of the season? or do the players now need a rest etc, can you over do pre season, or should players be kept playing up to the start of the season, to keep them in tip top condition.

Just a thought Dave but...... the squad is now large enough to be split into two and with each team probably good enough to be competitive in the BSP. (It doesn't feel right ;D) Hmmm.....
