Almost finished work and then it's off to home. Get some food in and after that it's with the bus and train to Irish pub O'Sheas in Eindhoven. No vocal support from me tonight but I'll trust that to those at Plainmoor tonight.

What will the crowd size be tonight? More or less than the Burton game?

Due to Histons lack of support I would suggest it will be less than the burton game..possibly 4000.
Rumour has it than when Histon visited Plainmoor earlier in the season they brought a massive travelling army of 6 fans? This of course meant that you could have counted them all on the fingers of an Argyle supporters hand. ;D

There were approx 15-20 Histon fans in December. It vividly stays in my mind as the worst away support I have ever seen!

The time to leave for the game is getting even nearer and lets hope for a good game, the right result and a great atmosphere. Not sure we will see that many more home fans than the Burton game and I do worry slightly that using the away stand for home fans, might just thin out the popside a bit.
I'm sure one reason it has been done is to make the ground look full on all four sides for the cameras. A good positive start is needed, we will have to earn the win and expect Histon to give us nothing, the game is as big for them as it is for us.
A good lead to take into the game up at Histon is the order of the day, get the result and a few goals lead and it will make the next match just a little bit easier and then we should be able to look forward to the final.

Has Elliott Benyon been the latest to speak out of turn ?
Sorry, just heard that he is ill.

Has Elliott Benyon been the latest to speak out of turn ? Wouldn't have thought this was 'his sort of match'. Although sometimes it might be nice to have a good finisher up front with Sills, I'm not sure he'd be as good as getting into scoring positions against the brutish centre-backs Histon use. And he has flu apparently (Hopefully not the pig variety!!!)

Absolute immense performance from the lads tonight, especially in the second half. Might be a shame we didn't get 4 or 5 but we have to take the momentum from that effort into Monday evening because Histon showed more than enough from set plays that they can still be a big danger to us.
Top marks to all of them. Would be tough to mark anyone out for extra marks but Nicky Wroe gets my vote. Both wingers were excellent, Stevens more flashy, Carlisle so tough to get past for the dangerous Knight-Percival, and Chris Robertson grows with every game I see him play. Him and Ellis at the back sometime next season would be a fine young centre-half pairing for years to come!!
WELL DONE LADS!
WELL DONE TO THE CROWD - THE ATMOSPHERE CAME ACROSS AS ELECTRIC!

I've just seen the highlights on Setanta Sports News and - unless the editor is a Gulls fan - it looked like we dominated.
Stevens showed flashes of brilliance and Tim Sills was, well, Tim Sills. Monday is set-up very nicely indeed.
Dare I say we have one foot through the Wembley turnstile?
