Good list Cav.No offence taken re non-league grounds not being counted, but as a non-league hopper, I would count Coach Road because an admission fee was taken. Wouldn't count Clennon, as no facilites as such or gate taken!

I will ask Rolf to do a list, it will contain some english grounds and some in Holland I'm sure and yes Plainmoor will be on it.

That's the trouble Dave, I can't recall the details save to say I have been to EVERY Football League and Premiership (not the REAL one!) club with the exception of Morecambe but not always for matches nor in some cases in their CURRENT stadiums. I've been to the grounds of Barrow, Workington, Southport, Bradford Park Avenue, Halifax, Maidstone, and Newport watching League football following the Gulls. Grounds NOW lost to the top flight. I've racked up hundreds and hundreds of grounds in the UK and Europe without documenting them..................I'm just not that type of "statto". I've sat in the very best seats in some of the really top stadiums, watched excellent 3rd div Portuguese stuff from a mud bank; watched top clubs live on a telly caste in their corporate areas whilst they played away. Reffed and lined in Germany, in empty Football League grounds; lined in a pre-season friendly at Plainmoor (United v Palace) and been the fourth official in a Football League Cup tie at Plainmoor (United v Manchester City). I've reffed stars like John Aldridge, Peter Withe, John Gidman, Bruce Rioch, Barry John, Gareth Edwards, Gerry Gow, Trevor Tainton, and lord knows who else; reffed the youth team of AIK Stockholm; I've lined Ian Wright, George Best, Mickey Droy, Gerry Gow, Trevor Tainton. I get as much pleasure being out on the local 3gpitch showing a four year old how to receive a ball, a seven year year old how to pass in a straight line; as watching a world class player such as Robinho yesterday. I can't wait for the start of the REAL thing which is roughly my fiftieth season at little Histon next Saturday.............bring it on!

The punters are waiting for the Dave R V Merse spats, but he must be getting to old, because I can't get him to play.

Steady on Kev, or it won't be Henry The Eighth you resemble but Ann Boleyn! Mind you I'm rapidly becoming too much like Mad King George for my liking.

Hey Kev. Don't mock poor old Merse. For instance, how many other people are able to point out a house where Russell Harty once lived!! ;D

, how many other people are able to point out a house where Russell Harty once lived!! ;D I could point out more than a few where I once lived as well. I could also point out the one that I once went back to in a drunken stupor forgetting that I no longer lived there, only my ex missus!

An idea.... could we have this thread (or better still a version of this thread with just the ground lists) as a sticky to stay at the top? Added one (Bury) to my total this week and hope to go to an fa cup game up here this weekend

Added one (Bury) to my total this week and hope to go to an fa cup game up here this weekend Hi, its not possible to move posts on any thread on the forum, I can only move the whole thread, I do agree a thread like this should only have the lists on it and no other posts. The best way really is for everyone to repost their lists on a new thread and then to just rename this thread and let it drop of the page. I could then put a sticky on the new thread to keep it near the top. So I will do that now and try and get everyone to repost their lists.

Can all the ground lists posted on this thread, please be reposted on the new thread now called
Records Of Your Ground Visits.
We then ask that only ground visits posts are only made on that thread
many thanks Dave
