Any reason for the change in pricing policy?
the legends night was Carvery & Q&A £15.00 or Q&A only £10.00 so all who went paid the same price,
for this event the prices are £10 - TUST Members £15 - Non TUST Members
Can't say I really agree that non TUST members should be expected to pay £5 more, at the end of the day its about raising money for the TUST.

I do agree with Dave that with the Night of Legends that you had topay a bit more for the cavery aswell as the Q & A and that it should be al one price for who ever wants to come as it may be unfair on people who may nnot be part of the trust.

It's common practice in football for "members" to be rewarded for their patronage through discounts (our season ticket holders receive 10% in the club shop for instance) and this is the reward for TUST members..................what's wrong with that? I find your objection a bit illogical seeing as YOU as a season ticket holder are rewarded with such a discount at the Gulls Shop.

Firstly I am not a season ticket holder, while I could have easily afforded the price and will be attending all home games this season, I choose to pay the full price at each match.
I'm sorry but I do not agree with this pricing policy, it did not happen at the legends night and should not happen for this event. It means the vast majority of TUFC fans who might want to go to a meet the players night, are victimized price wise, because they do not belong to a club that the minority of fans belong too.
The TUST want to raise money and it should treat all fans equal as far as I'm concerned, this goes fully against what I believe and I personally won't be supporting this event.

It's clearly a £5 DISCOUNT for TUST members rather than an increase for non-members. I would imagine that the discount is seen as an incentive to get people to join TUST and a thank you to members for their continuing support - but your reaction just goes to show how difficult it can be to incentivise or reward anybody without someone else moaning about it. I am surprised that you aren't a TUST member Dave. Go on - you know it makes sense! www.torquaysupporters.com/join_personal_online.php

I'm sorry you only see my views as coming from a moaner Jon, for the record I did not have to pay the last time, due to me giving up my evening and providing free of charge to the TUST a PA system.
Likewise I would not have to pay for this event as I was asked if I could help out again, only this time I had said the PA would be set up where I wanted it to prevent the small problems with feedback it had last time.
I have just had a long chat with Lou who phoned me, I have fully explained my feelings and why I hold them.

Lou P.S Thank you to Merse also for his post along the same lines as Jon
